  • Great boots
Size: 9.5 Color: Bruin Brown
I was iffy on buying them based off of the reviews but my company gives us a $200 boot allowance so I figured I’d try them. I always oil my boots but I didn’t have a chance to before I had to wear them. My first job in them was a 17.5 hr shift I work on conveyors in quarries And the top of the boot was chafing my shins and the back of my leg they kept pulling down my socks as I walked. I ended up stuffing rags around the top and I was fine after that. 17.5 hrs in mud and water my feet got wet through the boots. Not soaking wet just a little damp just enough I could feel it but that’s also 17.5 hrs constantly standing in mud which is very good considering I wasn’t able to oil them (piling them helps waterproof). But at the end of shift when I got home my feet had a little bit of an ache nothing crazy still better then my Double H boots I had before. So I ended up finally being able to Oil my boots the next day before I left for another job. Once I did that and got my over the calf socks it was game over 100% best boots I’ve owned My second job with them was at a lime stone mine and it was on concrete and again 16 hr shift and if you work on concrete you know it’ll kill your feet. I got home pulled my boots off and again just a little ache and my lower back wasn’t tight at all. But anyhow the point of this review is I work in crazy environments every day and they’ve been great boots I’ve been in mud, on concrete, on cat walks, climbing up and down conveyor structures, and at the end of the day now that they’re finally broken in I have zero pain in my feet I could wear these all day no issues. I ordered a half size down. People were complaining about them being hard to pull your feet out. I like that you don’t want to step in a mud hole and your boot come off or to be walking up a hill or something and slide around in your boot. You should always oil your boots before you wear them it helps relax the leather and water proof them I feel like that was the issue a lot of people were having them being too tight. And I’m sure oil would solved some of them complaints. Also just as a note it’s been in the 30s-40s here and my feet have stayed warm I haven’t had issues with my feet getting cold and that’s the first thing that gets cold on me besides my hands. ... show more

  • Tru size finally! 13W VX work
Size: 13 Wide Color: Bruin Brown
I just received the boots so this is my Out of the Box review I will return in 6 months hopefully not before and update the review. The boots are expensive, they look great and fit perfect. I wear a 13 or 14 depending on the shoe or boot 13W. If I order 13 always to small ..13 wide surprisingly it's amazing just snug enough to where you don't feel like you're slipping around and with wide feet they feel great nothing touches or pushes. If you are heavier set, I could see them being a little bit of an issue at the ankles I'm 6'4 215lbs. Active build. And could not be happier with first impressions. Boots are a little stiff, reviews all said that they had about a week break in so it was expected. The lip around the top of the boot is a little bit tighter than a normal slip on boot. But then again these are not normal slip on boots. Almost feels like I'm racing motocross again. You're paying a lot for these boots so this is the most accurate, to date review that I can give to help the next person along. I would highly recommend if this is the style you're looking for, if you're expecting a western style cowboy boot don't buy these. I went ahead and made sure I had long enough socks before they showed up I would suggest doing the same these will tear your shins up in no time I imagine just like the reviews say. All in all so far very pleased with my very expensive work boot purchase😅 I'll check back and update in a couple months 4/6/24 ... show more

  • Great durable boot so far
Size: 12 Color: Bruin Brown
When I first got the boots I hated them. They were tight in ankle area and both boots rubbed the inside of my heals raw. I had to use mole skin for about a week. The thing is they needed to be broke in. After that the boots fit great. Only had them a moth but love them so far. A little pricey but if they give me 3 years I’ll buy another pair ... show more

  • Great for hard jobs
Size: 14 Wide Color: Bruin Brown
I work as an Industrial mechanic where we have to make sure everything is sanitized with an acid wash, that we have to walk through. From food grade grease to super clean, we have some pretty nasty stuff here. It's held up fantastic here. The only problem I've had has been comfort. When I first got the boots, the left have had dug into my shin, then later on that stopped happening after wearing in the boot. Now my right heel is having the back of the boot dig into it leaving it pretty raw, now it could be from water getting into the boots (going into a freezer we have to be sanitized to ensure food safety regulations are met), or just wear and tear. The boots have been great other than those 2 issues. Stitching is still intact, the comfort besides the heel is there. Kicking things, welding things, walking in some nasty stuff such as a black water cistern, just held up fantastic. I'll try and update this in a few more months to see if it's still the same thing, since I've had them for roughly a month so far. Probably put 100 miles on them alrighty since I walk roughly 6-10 miles a day at work. ... show more

  • Worth The Money
Size: 10.5 Color: Bruin Brown
My feet feel so much better in these boots! A year ago I bought the Cody James at around the same price and rating level with comp toe. Absolutely the worst boot I have ever bought. These Ariat's are absolutely on another level!!

  • Leaks in ankle deep water. DON'T BUY!
Size: 9 Color: Bruin Brown
Very heavy duty and rugged construction and HEAVY! I did like them very much at first took awhile to break in but, that's not a bad thing. I use them but not as much as I would have liked to. After 4 months of use they LEAK! I used them in ankle deep water about an hour in and out of the truck(it broke down) after 30 minutes or so I started feeling the water seeping in. I was so PISSED! $300 boots shouldn't be wet on the inside! I am NEVER BUYING these again or any of their other products! Stay away! ... show more

  • Made in China
Size: 9.5 Wide Color: Bruin Brown
I am not paying $350 for a pair of boots that are made in China. They look rugged but after reading some of the reviews I decided to return them. I am disappointed that Ariat would lower themselves to having their product made in China.
