Decided to be the guinea pig and be the first to review. Look.... a 9x12 rug for less than $200?? Ummmm yes, it's worth it. I was having second thoughts and tried to cancel. It was too late. It arrived FAST. It wasn't rolled up. It's a heavy box folded. And you know what? It's not any less of a rug than the "affordable" rugs we all are buying from the same company that starts with an S. Those are just more traditional. If anything... if I do decide to shell out more cash for a more traditional, thicker rug- this is a good rug pad! Win Win for now. It's soft. Yes- you wonder the material because it's not what you're used to. But again, soft enough. I think people have called it a mat and I'd say that's a good way to put it. You will need a rug pad under which we did. For $1XX-some dollars I'm happy. This print tied our Saltillo tile and grey sectional together quite well.
