This rug is just as pictured on the Amazon site. The colors are vivid without being garish. The size is accurate. It is thin, but it’s supposed to be. The top (the side that shows) is very soft. The bottom has a kind of weave that helps to keep it in place somewhat. I have a heavy coffee table on it, so it’s not going to slide. I do love that it’s washable. My dog brings in twigs, pine cones and nuts from outside and I’ve found it’s easy to simply sweep debris off it. I’m considering placing a rug pad beneath it to make it more luxurious and comfortable underfoot. But, the rug itself is beautiful and all it’s advertised to be, at an excellent price point. We’ll be purchasing another in the near future for a guest room. I’m very satisfied with this purchase!

The rug came nicely folded. It was very soft and thin (as expected). They're was no smell and the size was as described. The pattern was pretty, but it was not a fit for our space. There was more red in the design than expected. We will be sending it back for this reason, but I would order another in a different color.

Is the rug thin? Yes. As long as you have the correct padding under the rug, this rug should stay in place. I have a 1/4 inch thick full floor protector pad underneath which is a must. I would not suggest the sticky tape. This rug was easy to lay out. As you can see from my pic, there is a small crease in the middle but it’s not unsightly and will smooth out. Rug is soft to touch and does not have an odor. This rug will fit perfect under my dining table.
