I originally rated this 3 stars for the reasons below. Good news is I found a cheap solution to this issue. I purchased the Bissel featherweight stick vacuum ($40 after tax), from Amazon, and it does the trick because it has less suction that a regular vacuum cleaner and does the necessary surface cleaning…rating increased because there is a solution, but it’ll cost you $40. This is actually very beautiful, I love the design! It looks great with my brown sectional. I would absolutely love this rug if it was actually a rug, unfortunately it is simply a floor blanket. You CAN NOT vacuum this as it is too thin and the vacuum will always suck it up. This would be an awesome buy if you get a smaller version and can put it in the washing machine, I got the 9x12 and that isn't possible. If you are looking for a large area rug, pass this up. But if you're going for a small one, then you'll like it.

I wanted a rug for in our guest bedroom. It already had carpeting but, I like the look of area rugs and the carpet is kind of rough. This arrived in a timely manner which was important as I wanted to get it down and let it flatten out before furniture was delivered. It's REALLY a soft feeling rug under foot. I unpacked it from the box and plastic bag and laid it out. I was so impressed with the feel of it in my hand, I took my shoes off at once and oh yeah, I could enjoy climbing out of bed and planting my feet on this rug. Well made. Neat and trim border with no fraying or snags. I have bought a fair amount of rugs for my new home from Amazon and this one stands out for it's soft feeling and how quickly it laid flat. I would highly recommend and I am pretty fussy.

LOVE this rug. However, it's not so easy to wash this size rug in a residential washing machine. I have a 5.5 cu ft washing machine and the rug fit but there is so much rug, washing it (on the longest cycle with extra rinse) did not get to all areas of the rug due to all the folds inside the washer. I ended up bringing it outside, laying it out on my driveway and hand washing it with Dawn dish detergent and a wash cloth. It came out great but it was labor intensive and took a day and a half to dry in mid 70 degree weather. Taking this to a commercial washing machine (especially in colder months) may be better than using a residential machine for this size rug (9x12). This was my experience. I posed this question before attempting to wash it in my home washer. Only one person responded and said they had no issue. This was not the case for me. Even still, I do love the look and feel of this rug though.

I love the minimalistic design on the rug, it goes with any designed room! It was super easy to elevate my space and make it an instantly more comfortable space. The rug came quite bumpy so I made sure to add adhesive for a more smooth appearance! My dogs like to lay on the ground even though they have so many expensive dog beds so this was a great option to add a little more comfort in the living room for them. I have not had to put it in the washer yet but I have a feeling it will fit just fine! I would definitely recommend this rug to any one looking to brighten up or elevate your space without breaking the bank!

I am really satisfied with the quality of this rug. For the price, it's a great value. The fabric is so soft, it feels like a blanket under your feet. It also looks really nice in my living room and enhances the space. I love the no slip gripping built into the back. I've seen other washable rugs as a two part system, this is way easier to just roll out and lay down. I have not tried to wash it yet, so we will see how that goes when the time comes. The only downfall is that my vacuum sucks the rug up, so for vacuuming you will need to use the wand feature with an attachment if your vacuum suction is strong. I'm definitely loving this rug and will be purchasing another one for our family room!

To die for soft! Not at all what I was expecting honestly, but I love it!! It’s pretty thing and lays out super flat which is great, and it’s incredibly soft!!! I got it for under my table since the chairs were scratching the hard wood to no end. Nothing has been spilt on it yet so I can’t say how well it cleans up in the wash but so far I’m so pleased!!
