If this carpet is used as a area rug without any furniture on top of it, be warm because the soft surface there is a potential to slip and fall. I've slipped some but haven't fallen. Love the colors of the rug. I got the 8x10 and it is huge! Didn’t realize how big but it works in the space. You’ll need to stretch it out good and give it some time for wrinkles to come out. It has the rubber backing keeping it from moving on the floor, which is nice but it is very thin. It is not like a normal carpet kind of rug which is what I was expecting, but it’s super soft, like a fuzzy blanket. Jury is still out on functionality since it is so soft it’s kinda slippery, so that’s why I’m giving it a 4 instead of 5, will change my review after a couple months when I know more. ... show more
