  • Really works!
Size: Medium
Have been using this Articshield full body suit for archery season down to 23*f and up to mid 40's f . When it is warmer I only put my feet in and zip it up to my waste and keeps feet and legs perfect all day. Colder than that I have it all the way on and my arms out the zippered armholes which is a plus. When my arms get cold it's nice to pull them in and zip up. Biggest con is getting your right foot down into the suit. It's difficult especially in the dark. Once you get that leg in the rest isn't too bad to get into. Without question this has kept me in my treestand or groundblind hours longer than I ever have been able to without it other than a heater in my blind. The morning it was 23*f I threw a handwarmer down each foot before putting the suit on and my feet and legs were unbelievably comfortable for over 3hrs that I was in the unheated blind. It was 28*f when I left. I have now also bought a heated jacket so I expect to be very comfy this rifle season here in Pennsylvania. ... show more

  • Warm, Toasty, and no joint pain due to cold
Size: XX-Large
So this will be my first review of this product. Scenario First use of product in mid-October following cold front passage. Morning temperatures dipped to near 32 degrees F with a northwest wind at 7 mph. I am wearing a base layer consisting of cargo pants, long sleeve t-shirt and a real tree pull over fleece hoodie, one thin pair of socks and hunting thin insulated boots. Total outdoor time with temperatures at or below 36 degrees F with windchills below freezing 2 hours. Impression I would say the body suit performed well in this initial test. During the early morning hours with temperatures dipping to just above 32F and windchills between 29 and 30 degrees and wearing only the previously mentioned base layer I remained toasty and warm. In previous years, with temperatures about the same measurements I have been shaken from my tree stand and sent packing to find warmth from my vehicle or just called it a day early due to painful joints due to colder temperatures. I am glad to write today I have experienced little pain due to cold temperatures and have shivered only once or twice before adorning the hood of the Arctic suit thereafter becoming warm snd toasty never to shiver again. Thus, for this first and initial test I say the Arctic body suit has passed without hesitation. I am not certain the opportunity will present to truly test the suit as it is named “Arctic body suit. Living well south of the mason dixson line. However, I am a very cold nature individual so in relative terms I will examine the quality and reliability of this body suit in the most cruel and harshest environments afforded over the next 3 months and will report my finding here. ... show more

  • Works as advertised
Size: X-Large
First time I used this item was a morning hunt and it was 9 below zero. Once I got it on I was nice and warm for the 4 hours I was on stand. The only thing that is a little hard to do is getting your right foot in the pant leg because the pant leg does not have a zipper that goes down to to the ankle like the left one does. But it still goes on good, you just have to take a few seconds to do so. Great suit. ... show more

  • Works very well
Size: Large
We bought this for my boyfriend, he sits on the ground up against the tree, and he says it is so comfortable and warm when he sits there all day long hunting. The only thing he learned while using it, is he leaves his hands out because he spooked a deer when he was unzipping it one time. However even with his hands out, he is very warm. He LOVES it and says it’s worth the cost, he no longer has to wear multiple layers when he goes out which can get uncomfortable and bulky . It can get really cold where we live, it has been warmer than normal but between zero and 30°F this winter so far he is very comfortable in it. We read the reviews when he did the size, he is 5’9” and we got the recommended large. It’s big but fits even his big boots. He puts it on when he gets to his location, and then after shooting or when he is leaving he takes it off rolls it up and carries it over his shoulder. He does not walk in it. ... show more

  • Great fir cold weather and best buy for the money
Size: X-Large
I bought these ArticShield Body Insulator suits for my two sons for use during a 10 day bow hunting trip in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan during December, temperatures range between minus 8 to 30 degree and we sit no less than 3 hours at a time, some days dust to dawn ( 9 hour hunts). They stayed warm all day. I also have a Blizzard Buddy suit that is similar to the ArticShield but cost twice as much. Both types keep you warm, the ArticShield has bigger leg openings which made it easier to put on, and the ArticShield has longer legs making it easier to climb in an out of your tree stand. For long sits in cold weather while hunting the ArticShield is best for the money. ... show more

  • Quality Affordable Insulation
Size: Large
Great external layer for those really cold days. 6 ft and 210 lbs, large is plenty roomy and the correct length. You can always go bigger because this is basically a sleeping bag with legs, but a better fit probably helps keep you warm better. Follow up notes: It would be great if the pants zipped down to the feet so boots in or out is an option. ... show more

  • Awesome
Size: X-Large
This suit works great! Kept my husband warm in his tree stand all day when it was only 15 degrees. He had on a base layer and sweatshirt and pants underneath and said he was couldn't believe how warm he was and stayed all day.
