Features

  • EFFICIENT THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY: Silicone and special filler-based thermal pad far outperforms generic and performance oriented pads.
  • BRIDGING GAPS: Due to its low hardness and great compressibility properties, it works as a perfect gap filler, bridging uneven surfaces and gaps without any problems.
  • EASY TO INSTALL: The installation of the ARCTIC Thermal Pads is child's play and thus perfect even for beginners. They are non-adhesive and can therefore be placed precisely.
  • SAFE HANDLING: The pad does not contain metal particles, is electrically insulating and non-capacitive. It is therefore safe to handle, as contact with electrical parts would not cause any kind of damage

  • Ok, not great
Size: 50 x 50 x 1.5 mm Style: 1 sheet of 50x50mm, thickness: 1.5mm
I had a scenario where it was really hard to mount my CPU without squeezing out a considerable amount of thermal paste. I was hoping this would do the trick. It was ok, my I was just not pleased with the heat transfer. Went back to the paste option and got it going. I have since reused it on an older CPU and it works fine. So I'd use it again for less intensive items, just not my gaming rig. ... show more

  • Adhesion is merely okay, and it's not as durable as I'd expect.
Size: 145 x 145 x 1.5 mm Style: Thermal Pad
I use this large thermal pad to help my laptop drop some heat onto the aluminum stand that it sits on. I have a second pad like this to couple the same stand to a dock. It seems to work well – fans spin up less often and the stand is clearly taking heat from the laptop and the dock. But the laptop has to move from time to time; if the adhesion of this pad were a bit netter it might stay in place more readily and its odd lack of durability might not be an issue. As it is, it's easy to take a little chunk out of the pad unexpectedly, just with a careless fingernail. It's a surprise; I've not experienced that with other pads. ... show more

  • Fixed apples poor thermal management
Size: 50 x 50 x 1.5 mm Style: 1 sheet of 50x50mm, thickness: 1.5mm
I have the last intel macbook air and apple screwed up the thermal. Using this to bond the CPU to the chassis made the mac run so much smoother.

  • Great for many things
Size: 145 x 145 x 1.0 mm Style: 1 sheet of 145x145mm, thickness: 1.0mm
I used this on several older GPU’s to bring some new life into them. For the money this stuff works pretty well. I just wish it transferred heat a little better but it works just fine. Don’t buy more than you need though, the packaging is just a plastic wrap, so if you don’t use it right away it will dry out. ... show more

  • Amazing improvement
Size: 50 x 50 x 0.5 mm Style: Thermal Pad
Purchased this to change out the thermal pad on an intel NUC. the performance over the stock pads are noticeable. It’s running cooler then what I’ve normally clocked them at.

  • Cooled my XPS15, easier than expected
Size: 50 x 50 x 1.5 mm Style: 1 sheet of 50x50mm, thickness: 1.5mm
I put it in the refrigerator for 20 minutes and then cut it with an Exacto knife. Most of my cuts were clean but there was a little tearing like the heat tape was dried out. I also wished it was a bit more sticky so I could ensure placement where I wanted. Since the back cover of the XPS15 sat on the tape, the tape stayed in place and worked perfectly for transferring heat and cooling my computer. Previous to the heat tape, my XPS15 fan would run on high, even when no applications were open. I had tried loading a previous BIOS and running ThrottleStop to undervolt my processor but this wasn't enough to keep my XPS15 quiet. I put the XPS15 away and decided to write it off as a bad purchase. Several weeks later, I installed the heat tape. I now use the XPS15 every day for work. I don't work it too hard. I connect to other computers with MSTSC. If I run a video, the fan will start after a couple of minutes. But the noise is nothing like what it made prior to the heat tape and without any applications running at all. Note: the amount of heat tape was just enough for me to cover the chips that were running hot. I didn't have any left over. If you are in doubt, you might consider buying two of these. If you are reading this, you probably suspect that have a use for heat tape. Maybe it will help you too. At the very least, it is a very cheap experiment. For me, it made my favorite laptop usable again. ... show more
