Description

ARCTIC, a leading manufacturer of PC coolers and components, initiated and continues to shape the trend towards quiet cooling systems. The P12 PWM PST A-RGB has 12 digital A-RGB LEDs in the fan scar. These can be controlled independently of each other and are compatible with the common A-RGB standards of leading motherboard manufacturers. The fan can thus be fully illuminated directly via the A-RGB mainboard connector or via an external controller and synchronised with the illumination of other hardware. The speed of the fan can be throttled down to standstill via PWM. This allows silent operation in IDLE and at the same time promises maximum performance when required. The P12 PWM PST A-RGB operates with a focused airflow and a high static pressure. The fan thus promises extremely efficient cooling, even with increased air resistance, and is therefore suitable for use on heat sinks, radiators and filters. With a wide speed range and the innovative PWM Sharing Technology (PST), the fan speed of the P12 PWM PST A-RGB can be controlled synchronously with all other fans. This reduces noise to a minimum while promising maximum cooling performance. I left the same review on the P14s. They're almost the same, the only difference is the size. They do the job well – keeping things cool with that smooth control thingy. But the real deal is the A-RGB lighting. Adds a bit of color without going all disco, you know? It's like having a breeze of fresh air with a touch of style. Putting them in was a breeze too. No rocket science, just plug and play. And you can sync a bunch of them without any hassle – cool if you want that coordinated look. Build feels solid, and they don't make a ruckus. And looks-wise, they're not trying too hard. Simple elegance, I'd say. They're the kind of fans that do their thing without shouting about it. Very quiet and not unreasonably bright. Moves a good amount of air. They're PWM fans so you can control their RPM manually or create a fan profile to minimize the noise they do make.

So these are flat out gorgeous fans. They're NOT Unifan's mind you, but what they are is Arctics renowned airflow and sound profile coupled with some markedly good RBG lighting as a price that can't be beat. My one single complaint is the cords, though at the price point you can't expect the total package. Each fan has a power cable with a jumper, and an RGB cable, with a jumper. As you can see in the pictures, in the PC I built for my son I had a total of 9 fans. That's 18 cords I had to cable manage. A nuisance more than anything, but if Arctic could find a way to bring the Bionix coupling adapter setup into the standard series fans, even at a small price increase, they'd be unbeatable. Honestly, if you want a hub RGB fan and top notch near Noctua level airflow and sound profiles without extortion level pricing, this is it. ... show more

These fans are great fans, got 7 total to switch out my old fans that were not great with sound when I first got them. I barely hear these unless I they are near full speed, which is not often since they keep my 5600X3d temps down. The lights on them also look great.

Ordered to replace one of the fans on my Liquid Freezer 2, which died within a couple months of installation. It's a direct replacement, but the cables are longer than the ones that come with an AIO. I've used a lot of Arctic fans with great success, but I'm knocking off a star for the dead one that came with my AIO, since it's technically identical. ... show more
