The torch head does not need to touch the metal plate, reducing energy consumption during non-cutting work, minimizing electrode burning, and extending service life. NOTE: Do not switch voltages until the screen turns off and the fan stops.
- Powerful & PortableUtilizing advanced IGBT inverter technology, 50/60Hz high-frequency pilot arc, dual voltage 110/220V, with a 60% duty cycle. The maximum cutting thickness of ARCCAPTAIN 55A plasma cutter can reach up to 3/4" @55A 240V 75PSI, while ideal clean cut at 1/2" @55A 240V 60PSI. Moreover, the plasma cutting machine only weighs 19.8LB & compact, we also provide a shoulder strap, make it easy to carry from one place to another.
- Easy to Set Up There is an air pressure sensor inside the machine, allowing users to adjust the air pressure using the regulator. The air filter is mounted at the rear of the machine, enabling quick connection, saving installation time, and improving efficiency. The recommended air compressor pressure value is within the range of 60PSI, 5.3CFM. PLEASE NOTE: The Torch is AG60 Plasma Torch. NOTE: Requires compressed air (compressor sold separately).
- One Step to Cut We have pre-set default parameters such as air pressure at 60 PSI and post-flow time at 5 seconds. Users only need to choose the voltage (120V/240V) and adjust the current knob to start cutting. The 2T/4T automatic cutting function releases your finger, making it extremely user-friendly for beginners and provide better welding experience.

This is a wonderful beginner plasma cutter. I was skeptical until doing some research and finding out that some are contact start the surface you are cutting has to be bare metal. This one can cut painted and rusted metal which is exactly what I needed. It’s easy to set up and worked perfectly first try. It’s a good value if you get a machine that actually works, I literally just got this yesterday and put it together to find out that it has a bad internal ground connection problem. How I found this issue, was whether or not I had the ground connected, it did the same thing. Then to top it off, good luck getting support from ArcCaptain. Tried customer support twice at two different times, no ones available, no call back option. 1star until my issue is resolved

I have had this little chinaman for about a month now , so far so good ! I have been welding and fabricating 40+ years . I have cut mild steel, Stainless steel, and aluminum without any issue. I haven't done any big jobs yet , but does cut pretty well . Does not seem to get to hot on small jobs 75 PSI seems to be the sweet spot on the air. I will update review after further use. For the price point I'm pretty impressed remember its 250 $ not 2500 $ !

It works, but not well on 110v. Really best suited for up to 1/4”, maybe, unless you have 220v (recommended), then it works much better all around.

I never used a plasma cutter before, ordered this one and set up was easy. Only needed to get a part to hook up air line to my compressor from hardware store for quick connect fitting. Took some steel I had and made this cat shape to cut out. Set to 120v and 25 on the dial, and air to 45 psi. Cut this out like butter with a hot knife! I never used a cutter before and it was quite easy but I know my skills will improve with practice. It tripped my outlet I guess a gfi so I took out my generator to power it up and had no problems. Seems like a good quality machine and a great price point. Only complaint is the air filter drain knob was chipped/cracked when I took it out of the box so I emailed support and waiting for a reply, may call instead of waiting for an email. Happy with my purchase!

Got this a couple weeks ago. Got it set up yesterday. Everything appeared fine. I had some pieces of 1/4” steel plates to test it out. Made some cuts that totaled about 10 seconds. I was very impressed. With everything set up to start my project today it would not work. Display looked correct. Ground was connected. Air was flowing. No spark so no cut. I packaged it up for return and very disappointed. I understand it’s not an expensive name brand but my expectations were it would last for more than a day for some home hobby projects. Not sure what brand to choose but it won’t be this one. Update: Customer service contacted me. We were able to work out a way for me to get a new unit. They were very helpful. I couldn’t ask for anything more. Thanks so much Spring.
