This is the 7th cabinet I own!! Yes, 7. I'm sure some of you have more, but I'm writing this review not on the titles installed, but about the cabinet itself. I'm not a big fan of press board/MDF when it comes to furniture, but this makes sense. INSTRUCTIONS/ASSEMBLY: Amazing. I'm a big fan of well written instructions and these are very well written. The assembly made sense thanks to these instructions. It comes with all the necessary screws/dowels and knobs for the cabinet. The instructions not only reference how to put it together, but referenced the necessary and appropriate fasteners. Excellent!! PACKAGING: As important as the instructions and parts is how well they package it. These cabinets come with great detailed decals and it can easily be damaged during shipping. They weren't. They were wrapped and protected with styrofoam protective parts. CLARITY/SOUND: Excellent. Sound and picture are excellent. The joysticks and buttons feel good. Over time I had to replace the springs for the joysticks for at least 3 of my cabinets with stronger ones because after a while, they became weak. But for now, I will use as is. OVERALL: I REALLY enjoy these cabinets. I understand that they can't get licenses for great titles such as Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr., which I would REALLY like, but the titles they did get like Defender, Joust, Rampage and others, is great.

I own four Arcade1ups: Tron, Outrun, Tempest, and now this. This cabinet, patterned after my favorjte game of all time, sets a new standard for awful. The uneven backlighting and hilariously bad viewing angles, comparable only to a cheapo MyArcade handheld, make this an embarrassment to have in my home. The joysticks included here are a joke. The balltops are marble sized and just screw onto the shafts, so they unscrew as you play. The shafts are extremely slim - I think if you play Mortal Kombat on these you will almost certainly bend or break them. I cannot believe I paid almost five hundred bucks for this piece of crap. The cabinet looks great, but that's all it has going for it.

2 buttons broke after having owned it for almost a year. I purchased warranty on this game and am getting zero reply / satisfaction from this manufacturer ARCADE1UP. They do not respond to my emails. The warranty company wouldn't help as they said i had to reach out to manufacturer of game. So a $500 game sits in my livingroom broken. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. Amazon offers to help by reaching out to seller (warranty company) and thats all they can do. No offer to reimburse my warranty money or credit anything towards the game.

Very happy to add this cabinet to my collection. My heart says 5 stars but nothing gets 5 stars. Everything can be improved. Screen looks good, buttons are fine, joystick is OK. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase and would do it again. (But, buy on sale).

I was amazed at the quality of this product. Granted there is some time involved in building the cabinet and you need to carefully follow the instructions but once it's complete it's remarkable quality. Give yourself 2 hours to build everything and make sure you have a large area to work in. Once it's setup though it's pretty easy to move. Arcade1Up has really progressed since I saw this same video cabinet about 4 years ago. The material is solid and the cabinet is very sturdy. The controls are great and the artwork on the side of the box and front panel is very high quality. The new Live feature gives you an opportunity to compare your scores to others online and they have built a nice interface to navigate the games. This is an excellent purchase for everything you're getting and once you build the cabinet you just turn it on and you're gaming. I bought a Ms. PacMan and Galaga game too and its like a have a retro arcade in my house!

I grew up in the 1970s-1980s, and was a frequent visitor to Aladdin's Castle. The arcades of yore are all gone now, but I'm building my own. This is a solid cabinet with classic games - I bought it primarily for "Rampage", "Root Beer Tapper" and "Bubbles", but I'm a fan of all the games in this collection.
