    • Great, solid cabinet, nostalgic gameplay, and SOLID support
Style: Video Game Controller
The cabinet was solid, games true to the arcade. Assembly definitely needs 2 people, so a heads up on that. The only gripes I have are that there are no scanline options like on my countercade, no division line between the split screen on head to head games, and you cannot play full screen on one player mortal kombat games like half the other games in the cabinet will allow. I am sure it is just a limitation in the screen resolution, but at the least, scanlines would have been a nice option. There was a distorted speaker on the player 2 control panel, and after a few email exchanges outlining the problem, 1up stepped up and are sending me a replacement player 2 control panel. The “gripes” are insignificant to the casual gamer to be honest. Oh, and get some anti slip rubber strips or a mat to place it on, if you have laminate or hardwood floors. Recommended overall. ... show more

    • Very nice

Review Image by SVjOel
Great product and was packaged pretty well. I was worried because the box had a gash in one of the edges but there was no damage to any of the parts. Relatively easy to set up but a few of the screws didnt want to go in smoothly. The plexiglass and table surface had plastic film protecting them but there were still some small scratches on the table surface. Not a big deal but worth noting. Feels solidly built and the controls are nice. I wish the screen was a little bigger but its acceptable the way it is. It has some good games on it but a few of them are kind of lame. Wish it would have had a few more games. Maybe theres a way to add a few more. ... show more

    • Fun but quality control could be better.
Style: Video Game Controller
I'll start by saying that overall, I really enjoy this cabinet. The cocktail style is much more comfortable when you are playing with 2 players. The game selection is great. Love that Gauntlet, Rampage, Root Beer Tapper, and other classics were included. I think the screen could be a little bigger, but at a discounted price of 300, I'm not too upset with that. Only thing I really didn't care for is the quality control. This thing came very well packaged, but that doesn't help much when things are damaged before they are put in the package. Vinyl had indentations and scratches all over it, and one small part was torn. The screen has dust stuck behind it that I might be able to clean up if I disassembled the monitor fully, but I don't want to go through the hassle. At least I can't see it when it's turned on. It's like they slam these things around and build them in a dirty garage or something. All that said, it's still incredibly fun and I've always wanted to play MK at home in an arcade cabinet. It's still miles better than any of the console ports I played as a kid. It would have been amazing if you could have bought something like this in the 90's for 300 bucks. It's a great addition to holiday parties and it always draws a crowd. I wish there was another big competitor to arcade 1up in this space, but you take what you can get and it's still fun. Really more like a 3 star, but for the discounted price of 300, I would buy it again, so giving it a 4. Work on your quality control! ... show more

    • MK 2 table-top arcade
Style: Video Game Controller
Great cabinet, easy set-up and games are just like the arcade.

    • Perfect for the price
Style: Video Game Controller
Got it with very steep Black Friday discount and it was worth it. Otherwise it's a bit steep. Nice product though, too bad the screen is tiny. If you know how to update the screen (tons of internet resources to find), it'll make a much better device experience. Still 5*'s for as it is.

    • Ok but not worth the price, get on sale
Style: Video Game Controller
I recently purchased the Arcade1Up Mortal Kombat Head-to-Head Arcade Machine, which has pros and cons. On the positive side, the nostalgic design is an excellent homage to the classic arcade experience, and it's fun to play with a friend, thanks to the two-player setup. The graphics and sound quality are decent for a home arcade machine. However, I found the unit's overall size to be relatively small, and they should include a lift and a bigger screen for the price. Additionally, the controls can be a bit sensitive, and some players might prefer a more authentic feel. The assembly process also took longer than expected. It's a fun addition to my game room, but it may only meet some for an authentic arcade experience. ... show more

Love the machine! Was exactly what I was looking for and at a great price. Perfect size for our entertainment room since it doesn’t demand a lot of space.
