The 100% Max Vision Pinlock 120 fog resistant insert lens for the Arai is developed to be used in high demanding conditions such as on the racetrack or adventure riding. The Pinlock 120 insert lens has proven its extreme performance in premier racing series like MotoGP, WSBK, Formula 1 and more.. Our top of the line fog resistant solution for professionals, developed to eliminate fogging in demanding weather conditions. The Pinlock 120 creates a double shield system through a silicon seal between the helmet face shield and Pinlock insert lens, which makes up a double glass type of solution that prevents fogging. The insert is made of a moisture absorbing plastic and therefore, the surface basically dry when used. This air-tight pocket ensures that the difference in temperature becomes significantly lowered. The Pinlock insert absorbs moisture on the inside and offers you continuous clear visibility. DOT FMVSS No. 218 Certified.

The media could not be loaded. So…the visor fits and performs well. But the vents in the visor are junk. Almost broken, they will Close while riding and on hot days isn’t fun. I’d buy it again for the price but just be aware of the vents are week

    • It does seem to stop fog, but at a cost
First off I wish it stated clearer that this insert is not intended for use at night. It does say it faintly etched on the edge of the lense, and in the instructions that are only available online. I do wish it was stated in here in the description. The 2 layers of lenses create much more glare. Especially at night when you encounter headlights and street lights. It specifically states not for nighttime use, but it is not designed to be installed and removed repeatedly. So unless you have a second visor and you don't mind changing them out between day and night riding this makes it quite an inconvience. Also the insert is relatively clear, but does create a bit of distortion, in addition to the additional glare. Overall I am disappointed with this visor insert. ... show more
