I had been looking for a rear mounted trolling motor that is foot controlled and remote controlled. I could not find one. I didn't want to frankenstein a bow mount trolling onto onto my kayak. I found this one. I have had it the water now several times. Flawless operation. Works perfectly. Love the remote. Some say the foot pedal is a little big but I like it because it easy to maneuver my foot around it. You can stand and fish in my kayak like a bass boat. The remote really shines with this. Love it. Works great on my power 100 kayak. I wish it was a lil slower but its not bad. Remote works GREAT! Unloading and loading is so easy. Just go get the truck and drive it to the trailer. Unloading is just back in and let it float away while parking and drive it back to pick u up at the dock. Worth every penny

The Trolling Motor is nice and works greats! Really moves my boat. I found that the foot switch is practically unusable. I don't know whose foot they used to as a reference when designing the foot peddle, but it must have been one huge foot! The foot peddle itself is very large and even the hight is difficult to deal with. Distance between the Left and Right turn buttons is huge and requires unrealistic foot movement to go between the two. The buttons are difficult to push as well making it almost impossible to steer the motor with any accuracy. When you are able to push the turn button, the degree of movement is excessive again, making it difficult to steer with the foot peddle. Also, the foot peddle either turns the motor on or off. (Push on, push off). Would be better to mimic a competitor's foot switch where you push on and release to turn off. The Wireless remote makes control easier but takes away the ability to steer and cast at the same time. All-in-all, I like the motor. The Footswitch needs a serious redesign to make it more user friendly. I would love to see these guys offer a footswitch replacement that is easier to use.

I used this for a number of trips. I tried to like it, I really did. However, I think I was spoiled by the Minn Kota motor on my other boat. This one just has such a difficult time going in a straight line. It always wants to hunt to the left or to the right. What that translates to in practical terms is that you constantly have to steer it. In addition, the steering inputs (left and right adjustments) are huge, so you are always swinging back and forth. The remote feels so cheap and Chinese, the entire package just does not seem like a good value for the money. "Buy Nice or Buy Twice" as the old saying goes.

Let me say, I could write a book on how amazing their customer service is. Very responsive, helpful, knowledgeable, all around amazing. The motor is great! Pairs easily with remote, uses less power than initially thought, remote battery lasts 20+ hours on a charge. If i could give this more than 5 stars, I would.

Bought last summer for an install on a small skiff rebuild. Finished boat in the fall and tested the motor before storing for the winter and everything worked. Pulled the boat out of storage for the summer season and the motor wouldn't turn left or right with the remote or foot control. Seller sent out a new replacement and it arrived within a week after notifying them. Great company to work with and I'm hoping the new motor will be trouble free. Gave 5 stars based on customer service and will leave that rating as long as the motor holds up and is reliable.

Overall I love this trolling motor. It serves a need in the market for a transom mounted motor that can be controlled by a foot pedal. However I would love to see some improvements. The foot control is far too large. I think it makes sense to have a large base since it cannot be mounted and this gives it stability. However, the button spacing is extremely difficult to use with your foot. The buttons require a lot of pressure resulting in a foot control that is barely usable and quite frustrating. I typically have to use my heel and awkward positions to keep control. I find myself using the handheld remote more often than the foot control (which reduces the point of wanting a foot control). The shape of the hand held remote should be improved. It is the same shape on the top and bottom so unless you’re looking at the remote It is easy to mistakenly use it upside down resulting in movements in the wrong direction. If the remote was shaped slightly different on the top or bottom you would recognize this immediately without looking at it. The motor is also quite sensitive to weeds. Even slight weeds gives the motor a lot of difficulty in the water. My Minn Kota is able to perform much better in the weeds. A weedless type of propeller would be a great option. Controlling the motor is great but smaller tuning in the angle would be better.
