Hoping I never have to actually use these. I bought them just for an emergency situation. They are packaged well, and should last forever if unopened. They are very easy to use, and the directions are clearly written. Not only that, but they are very small tablets, and easy to carry with you on a hike. I would say they are a great value for the money and peace of mind.

In the name of self-preservation, 2-3 years ago, I began storing tap water in thoroughly washed out former milk gallon jugs "just in case". Additionally, as a precaution, I thought it best to have water purification tablets on hand as needed for drinking water. To date, such emergency has not occurred, but am comforted knowing these tablets are on hand to purify my drinking water in the future.
