So beyond worth the price if you cannot find the perfect fit! I bought a new 55 gallon Topfin from Petsmart and could not find any glass lids that fit, either too long or too short, by mm. I was able to get a 20g long tank really cheap for just the tank. The first glass canopy I ordered of a different brand was a SMIDGE to long to fit inside the rim. I took a chance on this one, and it's perfect. Fits inside no problem, with absolutely NO wiggle room. So, no fear of it falling into the tank. I did see someone post that it was a nightmare to get the plastic strip on, and I did just for the heck of it, and can see what that person meant. As I don't plan on using it anyway, it wasn't a big deal for me. I only tried for the sake of the review. If you need it on, it will be difficult.

I have an older tank and the lid is an off size, this seller was so amazing to deal with, I bought a set for my 75 gallon over a year ago and have been so happy with the functionality and value for the money I paid. They took no time to pop together and are so clear that the lights can really shine better than ever. A couple weeks ago my silly butt stepped on one when I had it off for cleaning. I contacted the seller on here and explained and they worked with me so I could buy half of a unit instead of a full 2 piece topper again. Excellent service, helped me even though it was clearly my fault the thing got damaged. I couldn’t be more happy with the topper and think it was as worth every penny, I will absolutely return to this seller if I need another tank lid again. I'd been wanting glass lids for my tanks for a while. I've been doing an overhaul—I had two 10-gallon tanks, one 6-gallon tank, and one 5-gallon tank, all of which housed one betta each. To consolidate space and power a little bit, I split the two 10-gallons in half, but I was worried the bettas might jump over the divider with the slanted hood lid that came with the tanks. So I ordered two of these glass lids. The seller contacted me within the hour, as they wanted to make absolutely sure that the size I ordered was the size I needed. When I confirmed that it was, within twenty minutes I got the notification that the lids had shipped. When I received the lids, they were very well packaged and wrapped, with the two glass pieces already hinged together. My only complaint—I want to preface it by saying I think it was user error (ie, I just didn't know what I was doing lol)—is with the plastic add-on piece that can be cut to accommodate the tank accessories. I had so much trouble getting them onto the glass sections—I wanted to just snap them on, but I couldn't get it on that way and ended up having to slide it very tediously along the glass until it was in the correct position. I kept worrying I was going to scratch or break the glass in the process. Then I tried cutting the pieces out with an Exacto knife like I'd seen someone else say in a review, but it was taking a really long time, and I discovered scissors worked just as well. So when I needed to cut a piece out of the middle of the edge, I used the scissors for the two sides and then the exacto knife to score and remove the last piece. I would also say put the add-on on before cutting the pieces. With the second lid I cut the plastic first but then had only cut edges to hold onto when I was trying to slide it onto the glass. Again I believe this was all user error and there was most likely a much easier way to do all of that, but just wanted to add it in case someone else is clueless like me, lol. Other than that, I really like the lids. They're a lot sleeker than the plastic hood lids I had and even though I've only used them a few days so far, it seems like they'll help slow evaporation and even though they don't have lights (which I'll be researching later), it's less necessary since the lid is, obviously, glass. Anyway, I'll definitely be buying another one for my single 5-gallon tank, as I ended up getting another betta lol

I’ll start off by saying this purchase was way more affordable than searching else where. I hope these photos help, because Amazon didn’t allow the videos. It was easy to assemble (not that it required much). I asked for it to come already hinged in place and they did a great job with servicing that. In the box , there are some instructions on what to and what not to do. They’re clear. The lids are perfect to my tank size. I can see clearly through my tank way more than I could with the last hinged lids. It’s very easy to clean. The tank size you see here , is 110 gallons. I have 2 Oscar cichlids & 1 Pleco (suckermouth catfish). These lids are even more stabilized, because of the thick layer of glass. This Aqua Company , did NOT disappoint. All I’m saying is , if my fish breaks this lid, I will be purchasing again. Hope this helps.
