Paid special attention to product description about don't squeeze it hard. Filled it up, was very gentle, it misted for about a 10th of a second then made a faint pop noise then it was a stream. Kept spraying a stream no matter how soft I pulled the trigger. Don't buy it.

I have a few of these that have a spray button on top that you have to push down and I find this one is much easier to use. Yet it takes up a little more space then button on top but the convenience outweighs that. Do like that is is glass as well so you don't get plastics in your food and it just looks a lot cleaner. ... show more

    • Its ok but awkward for oil
I got this to replace the need to purchase the aerosol cans of virgin olive oil. Unfortunately this device seems to struggle with spraying twice without delay. The thickness of the oil seems to delay the ability of the trigger to recoil to allow you to spray twice.... It is a very annoying delay but it will be necessary if I'm going to replace the aerosol cans.... The spray is even and works well to coat salad or even your grill. ... show more

This olive oil mister works better than the last two I tried but still needs improvement. The glass bottle container feels good and fits well in the hand. I found the secret functions of the mister, a slow squeeze of the trigger yields a straight stream and a hard squeeze throws somewhat of a mist as shown in the picture.     • There must be a trick to using this.
We washed it first with water, including through the spray nozzle and it worked good. But, it it seems to struggle with the olive oil. Is has been difficult to get it to mist. It’s like the oil doesn’t want to come out. Maybe there is still water in it. I am not impressed, but I will keep using it, just in case that is the reason it doesn’t work very well. ... show more

    • Keep your hands clean
This oil spray bottle is nice because it keeps my hands from getting all oily when I need to coat the bottom of a pan. I love the fact that I can control where and how much I want. The clear glass bottle is great to keep an eye on how much you are using. It is easy to spray considering you are spraying oil, it's not like water so practice first. I used to always buy those cans of olive oil and whatnot but they don't seem to last and I'm not sure what all in in them. This is great because I know exactly what I put in the bottle. I have used a few oil sprayers in the past. None of them spray a mist. I am always redistributing the oil because of there being too much oil over part of the food. This sprayer appears to be the first one that puts out a mist in fan shape that evenly distributes my olive oil. Really like it. Haven't had to clean it yet, so I deducted a star only because it is an unknown as to how easy it will be to clean. Would get one again. ... show more
