I don’t put nothing in his way but after noticing him trying to swim around the tree and between the branches had to pull it out from the back wall of the tank! He loves it and swims all around it! Just wish they made really big ones for bigger tanks and bigger, fish. This is a 20 gallon tank under a purple LED light, with the back painted cobalt, blue. Love the effect of the hot pink tree under purple led light, and all the other other plants luminous the way they should the purple ones luminous purple, the pink luminous, pink, etc. Notice the glowing affect the plants have under LED lights in the pictures. They are beautiful. My snails do their job on the little plants and they stay on the bottom they come out from the gravel but they stay on the bottom, stay upright! I took a picture of a pink plant that I purposely left out of gravel so you could see how they stay upright and on the bottom very well waited. Im ordering 3 more for his 55 gallon glow tank I’m working on and connecting two trees together (stacked) one for each end of tank. He don’t like a lot of ornaments, so these trees are all he need, and are perfect for him to race around! This looks great in the tank. The Cherry blossom tree really fills the tank and looks great. Due to it's size a small bump and it doesn't stay fixed to the bottom very well. Just in the tank with the fishes it's fine. The smaller plants that this comes with are very small 2-3 inches. This is a great value vs buying directly in a pet store, but my one main complaint is the cherry blossom tree will eat fish nets. If you get a fish net anywhere near the tree it will snag, every single time. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. These look great! So I ordered two. One just for the pink leaves to put on my bonsai driftwood tree. And the other for my juvenile red betta. He swims through his tree constantly rubbing against the soft pink leaves. My blue betta loves looking out from under them on the big bonsai. Will definitely buy again maybe in green for my next tree I’m working on. But my fish love how soft they are. The trunks do look fake but blend in very well I did take the big base off the tree in my red bettas tank and weighed it down with two smallish rocks. Looks way better. These plants are beautiful, especially the tree. However, after a while, my betta's tail was shredded. He likes to hide in the tree, and that's the only thing that could have done this. This item was the first thing that came up when searching for "betta safe" tank decorations, but the tree is absolutely not betta safe. ... show more
