I'm an adult and the size was good enough (I'm roughly 5'7"), in terms of length; I sometimes use the handles and sometimes not -- depending on what type of kicking (back, side, front) I'm doing. My neck does get a little sore from the angle when kicking on front, and i wonder it that is because I'm just not used to it yet, or is it because the board is short or not firm enough (sinks if I put firm pressure). I wish it were a little longer, firmer, thicker and sturdier, as I recall was my kick-board from "back-in-the-day". As of this review, I've only used it twice. Color choices are abundant; I purchased 3 colors: red, aqua & purple -- my favorite is the purple. For the price, it's a good value. ... show more

Great little kick board. Got it for my 4 year old grandchild for the small pool and they had a lot of fun with it. This is for holding onto and kicking, it's not a floating device, but if your little one likes kicking and splashing this could work. Shipped on time and seems well made.
