Works superbly on long flights, fine materials.

The Hears have two strong advantages over foam earplugs. They are comfortable to wear for over 10 hours and they leave no microplastics or dirt inside your ear canal. After about four or five hours with foam earplugs, my ears start to itch. I wore these for over 10 hours and I completely forgot about them. They are just much more comfortable. For something that doesn’t go deep into the air canal, it blocks noise quite well. I can still converse clearly, but low frequency hum and bangs are very well blocked out. In an airport lounge, for example, I was able to eat and read in peace, and I was well protected from a dropped metal tray. When someone spoke to me, I could hear them well. I like these hearing protectors. I also use the Hears under my noise cancelling headphones. They fit super comfortably and improve hearing protection. You cannot sleep on your side with the Hears. They don’t hurt, but they do touch the sleeping surface (car or plane seat) and transmit the noise. Also, these have no electronics and do not play sound. Don’t be like me, know what you’re buying. Lastly, the look and feel is very nice. I love to know that only silicone rubber is touching my ears and I don’t have to deal with toxic additives in cheap plastic. ... show more

Worst earplugs I've seen, don't even want to put them in my ears

The quality of the earplugs are so bad. The case itself is flimsy plastic that I couldn't even crack open initially. But once opened, it feels like cheap molded plastic and clicks at the hinge. Then the earplugs, it's just plastic and hard rubber. The plugs don't even sit in the case properly and aren't secure. The rubber is hard to the point where I don't even want to try to plug my ears with them. Just opening it, the quality of the product is not worth the price point. If you want to spend the amount you are gonna spend on these, just go get loops. Don't waste your money on these. ... show more

Great Protection Without Killing the Sound Quality

I bought these earplugs mainly because I was dealing with ringing in my ears after loud environments, especially working wedding receptions as a photographer and going to concerts. I still wanted to enjoy the experience and be able to hear what was going on, just without the pain and harsh volume. First impression was that they felt a lot more solid than I expected. The case is small and easy to carry around, which is important since I usually just throw them in my camera bag or pocket. They’re also easy to put in once you get used to the fit. It took me a couple tries at first to figure out the best way to seat them properly, but after that it became pretty quick. In use, the biggest difference is how they reduce the harshness without making everything sound muffled. At weddings, I can still hear speeches and music clearly, but it takes the edge off the loud speakers and crowded room noise. At concerts, I actually enjoyed the show more because I wasn’t constantly uncomfortable from the volume. The 25dB reduction feels noticeable, but not like you’re cut off from everything. Comfort-wise, I’ve worn them for a few hours at a time and they stayed comfortable once I got the right fit. They don’t completely disappear in your ears, but they’re not distracting either. The biggest win for me is waking up the next day without that ringing or pressure in my ears after loud events. If I had to mention a downside, it would just be that getting the right seal takes a bit of practice, and if they’re not seated properly the noise reduction isn’t as effective. Not worth it, not comfortable and have to readjust often

Not happy with these at all. Bought them to use for my motorcycle. Even having XS tips, these do not want to sit in my ear. They like to fall out and adjusting them becomes a hassle. They shift and after a while you can hear the wind noise from them shifting which makes riding very uncomfortable. For a ride that’s about 1 hour long, I have to stop and readjust them at least 3 times. When they are fully and properly seated, they work great but constant readjusting makes them very hard to like. Additionally, they tend to start hurting me after about 30 min if I don’t readjust them. I really wanted to like these but for the price and what you are getting, I can’t justify them. I tried them over a course of 2 months and personally would not recommend this product. I will try the “Loop” earplugs even though they aren’t made for motorcycles but my first impressions on them is that they seat a lot better and those earplugs are a lot more comfortable so far. I haven’t taken those out on a road yet but do have high hopes for them. I will post a review of those on the “Loop” page when I will have them in for a ride. ... show more

was sold on these because they were a top rated motorcycle ear plug bit in my opinion there is a lot of noise from them rubbing against the inside of your helmet not the best in my opinion

These are great. I have a Bell helmet, TOCE exhaust and Cardo comes. These knock out a majority of the wind noise, high decibel pitch and loud high speed drone noise. Adjustable sizing and comfort. 1st brand not to want to pop out of my ears. I need to order another set those will be the 20db. Thanks for making a great product ... show more

A must for noise sensitive people at concerts

I went to a BTS concert cert (I say this because those concerts are a next level of noice for all the good reasons). These things were phenomenal! I have a hard time with scenes like co certs and these were just right. No running ears, no headaches, nothing. They also do t tunnel noise weird, which I’ve had issues with other products doing.
