I never thought about buying a shower filter before we have city water but it’s dried out our hair and skin we were always itching now our hair and skin are so much better I will buy this again my best friend and our daughter have ordered these and this filter is amazing I have filters in my refrigerator and kitchen sink for years I like our well water more than the city water never had any issues with it but when they put city water down our road my husband got it hooked up to our house he grew up in the city I grew up on a farm there are no chemicals in. our well water I never liked city water smells like bleach to me I don’t drink it I buy bottled water to drink now my skin isn’t itchy my long hair isn’t dry so as long as I live here I will have this filter in both bathrooms so keep making these because t they work very well everyone living here thinks the shower is so much better now and bonus is no more itching don’t have to use so much shampoo and conditioner or shower soap my neighbor can only use liquid shower soap so she is getting one thanks for a really great filters and getting 2 it will most likely to be good for a year but I will be buying more before that so I will always have one thanks for best shower ever ... show more

My skin and hair haven't felt this good since I lived out in the country and had country water. I live in a major US city and the water is absolute trash, to the point where my skin and hair end up with almost a rubber texture after bathing. With this water filter, my hair feels lighter, has more volume and shine, and is soft as can be. We have been using these for two months now and it seems like it is working well. I bought two, one for my bathroom and one for my son's. Before these, we were having breakouts and itchy skin. I think it was from the hard water at my apartment complex. It was pretty bad. My skin is softer and minimal breakouts. My son's skin has improved some too it looks like on his shoulders. We have acne so it won't completely go away, but it is much better. We haven't had to change the filter yet and the pressure still seems good. I bought the emerald color ones and honestly it looks silver to me. I didn't notice a big difference and I'm glad I did because it was on sale for like 18 dollars at the time. ... show more

Lots of people mention the pressure dying down when its getting to its end of life-cycle. Yes, it is alive as much as a waterfall is hahaha but I like it a lot, water definitely feels softer after rinsing off. Skin is a lot softer since I've been using it for awhile.
