Quality is great, size is perfect for all kinds of apples. Best apple slicer I’ve had to date- handle and grip are good! It’s definitely sharper but makes it super easy to cut fast! Appearance is clean and so easy to throw into the dish washer. Much safer than cutting an apple by hand.

Super sturdy apple corer. I love how easy it is to slice an apple in seconds. It works well, and it has easily cut any apple I have bought so far. It does not rust, but keeps the stainless steel look. The handles are wide enough to comfortable push down to cut up the apple easily.

as with most of the gadgets that are like this you need to have the strength in your hands and arms to use it. It cuts great and is heavy, you won't break it easily. I like to stand above a table to use it so I can press on it harder to make it slice. It isn't that the device is not sharp, it is very sharp, but it is just me who doesn't have a lot of strength in my arms or hands. I love the perfect slices of the 12 cut one that I purchased. This is not a tool for someone with strength issues in their hands/wrists. It was not that easy to use. It worked easily enough in a small apple but on the medium sized one I had to use considerable force to press it down. I don't think someone with weak hands/wrists or possibly even shoulders would have an easy time with this if you are slicing more than one small apple and need to do a bunch for a pie, etc. That said, it actually sliced and cored the apples very well! I will continue to use it and I do recommend it in general and would buy it again. I didn't try it in a large apple but this thing is definitely sized for large apples too. I am annoyed to see a coupon now being offered for it because I did not get that discount when I purchased it only a few days ago. ... show more

Very well made product, love it. The reason I didn't give 5 stars on ease of use, it's an apple-they are hard to slice! But it does a great job. Ease of cleaning, you need to watch what you are doing. Remember you are basically cleaning a knife with all the blades open.

It does what it’s supposed to. I had to sharpen the blades to make cutting easier, cause it takes a lot of effort without sharpening them. I had to lean over and use my entire upper body to slice through the apple completely until I sharpened them. Otherwise, seems pretty sturdy and cut my apples all the way through, even before sharpening. Just took a bit of extra effort, haha. ... show more
