The media could not be loaded. Works just like a new one would and I've experienced absolutely no problems so far!! I'm able to draw just fine and the pressure sensitivity is amazing. It hasn't messed up or done anything wrong and drawing is an absolute breeze. I love it so much. I'm glad I purchased this rather than a brand new pencil because it honestly seems no different and saved me 18 dollars. I put a skin on my pencil, so that's why it looks the way it does, but I posted a video to show that it works wonders!

Love the Apple pencil v.2, was hesitant at first to commit to a "refurbished" unit, but the savings was there and the product was perfectly fine, no worries, looks/feels brand new, not even any defects in the packaging. Very satisfied, and glad to have saved $30 because I think the Pencil, like all things apple is overpriced. I did see in comments that the refurbished units didn't come with replacement nibs, just wanted to put out there that thats exactly how it ships brand new. Apple Pencil v.1 came with one replacement nib, Apple Pencil 2 (seriously why didn't Apple just call it a #2 Pencil?) did not come with any replacements, they are now sold exclusively separate, so nothing is missing from the original packaging. Apple sells the replacement tips in a four pack around $20

I bought this for my new IPad Pro and use it for various drawing programs. It arrived in perfect condition and works beautifully. I was a bit hesitant to buy a “renewed” pencil, but I am very happy with my purchase and subsequent savings!

It's renewed, but it came in like it was brand new. Great price! If you are stuck between whether or not to buy renewed over brand new, don't. I had the same doubts, save some money and get the renewed version. Works just like a new one.

I originally bought this at best buy bust returned it quickly after seeing this offer. it feels brand new. No scratching on screen or screen protector. Battery life is amazing, I got a good 48hrs before it needed to be charged (I used it for note taking and graphic designing) There was no difference in packaging between the best buy one and this one. *comes with instructions

I own a creative hand lettering business, i would spend hours lettering on paper, scanning, uploading to the computer, removing backgrounds and converting to digital. I have a day job where i work from home so i would work all day, then sit in that same office turned 90 degrees in my swivel chair facing my personal computer working all evening to digitize my work. Apple pencil with iPad pro has enabled me to get out of my office and at least sit on the couch in the living room while i do the lettering and drawing work and be in the presence of my family. now this hasn't completely eliminated the computer,there is still a fair amount, but i feel like i can join the family and not be stuck in my office from morning until night.

The pencil doesn’t work with my ipad (iPad pro 3rd gen) the tip was cracked and the package was damaged. I was waiting for this all week, very disappointed.
