While the refurbished part of the product doesn't really shine very much, due to the fact both the weight and case are different I should say this. If you are buying an apple pencil, buy a refurbished one if you simply cannot afford to buy one of "new" quality. That said like any apple pencil it is easy to use, versatile in its uses, you get good bang for your buck, it connects to your tablet instantly, it's comparable with all things the second gen apple pencil is compatible with, and overall it works like a charm. The battery life is not bad, but do remove it from your tablet while you are not charging it or using it, otherwise this black stain will build up and eventually it will stop working in my experience. Not much else to say, though it isn't compatible with older generations, it's good if you don't mind the case being replaced. ... show more

Works fine, but the tip is not apple pen, and it scratched my also brand new $27 paperlike screen protector very badly. Not material from the tip, it etched the protector.

This pen doesn't work. I'm using the iPad pro 3rd generation with this apple pencil and I connected it. It started working but the pressure and tilt sensitivities on both procreate and goodnotes were completely non existant. I would press lightly, then harder, and there would be no change to the thickness of the brush. Then I unpaired and forgot device and reconnected it. Now it doesn't respond at all. I really wished this worked because I was excited to use it for drawing and taking school notes. ... show more
