I ordered the silver 13” 2017 MacBook Pro with a 128 GB SSD and 8 GB of RAM in good condition from PLATINUM DEALS, but they actually sent me one with a 256 GB SSD, which was an awesome surprise. Setup was smooth. The only thing I had to do was update the MacBook from macOS Catalina to Ventura. One thing I wish were different is the charger. While you do get one, it’s not the original Apple charger—it’s just a standard USB-C charger. It works fine, but it doesn’t charge the MacBook very quickly. The battery health is excellent, with fewer than 200 charge cycles, and the battery lasts up to 7 hours, which is great considering the age of the device. ... show more

    • Worked perfect for a while then it changed!
The laptop said it was in excellent condition and it was for a few days. Everything worked perfectly then suddenly while on it the screen went black. Now I cannot fully open the screen because the screen goes black. The shift key doesn’t work but I didn’t mind that at all. The screen going black makes it unusable. Really disappointed!!! ... show more

I have used a 13" Macbook Pro previously, so I was familiar with its strengths and weaknesses. It's a great value for a small, lightweight, simple MacOS laptop. This little laptop arrived on-time, ready to go. There are some signs of wear on the keys but whatever. I updated the operating system and went through the startup steps with no problems. My 2 rather minor complaints are: 1. the space key was nearly dead on its right side. These butterfly-style keyboards are known for their (un) reliability issues. Fortunately I was able to restore the space key to full function by removing the key cap and lightly cleaning under it. BEWARE the key caps on this Apple "butterfly" style keyboard do not just pop off for cleaning. It's not obvious. YouTube videos and replacement key parts are widely available. And 2. the outside of the case is now covered by a subtle, well-installed decal. It looks exactly like the silver MacBook case... Until you go looking for the model number ... Overall very satisfied. Just wish I could see the model number on the case... which is of course also in the "About this Mac" system report from the OS. ... show more

I had got this computer for my birthday this month i needed something that could last me for a few months or a year until i can upgrade. This has been great so far! I got mine in excellent, came the next day.. barley any scratches, the keyboards work great.. no broken key, the graphics are prefect. i checked my battery health it's on normal. if your thinking about getting this mac book but your scared because of the reviews. get it!! you won't regret it. Sound quality is great... The setup was easy & quick. The only problem is the charger works, it's just very slow so when your ordering this make sure you add an charger also to the cart lol but besides that i have no regrets!! ... show more

I've needed a new computer for a while now and it's better than my old one. It has just a few dents and is in decent condition, but when I was using it I noticed that the battery life was really short. I would have to plug it in every hour and a half or so, even though I was using low power mode. I realized after digging around a bit that there's a warning saying that battery service is recommended (I bought it yesterday). I mean it's not a bad laptop, especially compared to my old one; but considering that one of the main problems I wanted to fix when buying it was poor battery life, its a no for me. I also noticed when I was running a movie it was very laggy. The faces are blurry and whatnot. On a budget, it’s alright though. I only use it for schoolwork and Netflix, and for those things it works. As long as you have access to an outlet when using it, you'll be fine. ... show more

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So far, so good! Just received my 2017 MacBook Pro today and I’m really pleased with it. The laptop has very minimal scratches, nothing major at all being that it’s refurbished, and it looks great overall. There was a little bit of glue residue around the face of the laptop, but it was super easy to wipe off with a cleaning cloth it also came faster and within 3 days before the hour it said! It came charged and came with both the charger and the block for the USB-C connection, which I really appreciate. Everything powered on right away with no issues. This is day one, so I’ll update later if anything changes, but for now I’m really happy with this purchase. Loving it so far! ... show more
