Purchased in February… worked fine until today, this morning the battery was showing 97%, it was plugged in and when I got home the battery said 1%…. I rebooted it and it said battery was 0% and needed to be replaced. It now will not take a charge or reboot. If you buy a renewed Apple product, do not buy it from Amazon, no matter how good the price sounds, you only get 90 days…. At least from Apple you get a year ... show more

I’m only giving a 4 star because of packaging. It was in bubble wrap in a box and it gave me anxiety before I opened it cause I was worried it was going to be damaged. But I just checked the everything and it looks great! Little scratches here and there but everything works and I’m very satisfied.

When I made the decision to purchase a used laptop, particularly one that was a few years old, I had realistic expectations that it wouldn't be in pristine condition. Despite carefully reviewing the description and hoping for an "excellent condition" product, the laptop I received was below the criteria I had in mind. During inspection, I noticed some bump marks on all four corners, with some appearing superficial. However, one corner had a visible dent that was noticeable even when the laptop was open. The exterior and interior of the laptop were covered in numerous scratches, and the most significant one was on the top, where you could feel a noticeable dent. Given the high prices of MacBooks, I decided to give it a chance, assuming that the issues were primarily cosmetic. However, I was disappointed to find that the battery life was also not up to par. Despite these issues, the laptop does perform well in terms of its overall functionality. To sum it up, I must admit that I am not entirely satisfied with the condition of the laptop, as it falls short of the "excellent condition" criteria provided by the seller. While it still serves its purpose, I believe there are likely more reliable sellers out there with more accurate product descriptions. ... show more
