    • Initially had problem with battery charging but got it fixed.
Received the laptop and it was in really good shape, everything seamed fine except that the battery would only charge to 20%. Exactly 20%, figured it had to be a settings issue, called support, no help, suggested I return it. Was about to do so when I decided to take it to a local apple support center for advice and/or diagnostic. They examined, noted it was an aftermarket battery (not unexpected) and did something to 'reset' it. It then charged up to 100% and now it works perfectly. ... show more

    • Is not working after 6 months of use!
I had this laptop barely for 6 months. Suddenly it stopped working (wouldn't turn on). Took it to the repair shop they said the motherboard is not working at all. This was shock i recently bought this, I should not have such problems with it. I did not do anything to the laptop, other than use it check emails. Buyer beware, these are refurbished (does not mean the initial problem was completely fixed), I guess they already come with problems and could just blank out on you out of nowhere. To be honest this was a waste of money ($650) I should of just bought a new one, as to fix it, it costs $300-$400, almost as much as I bought it for ($650). With all the money together I couldn't of bought new one/(I should of bought a new one) ... show more

Product came quick which was awesome! that was for the 1 star. Then opened and macbook was completely dead. turned back off and charged for several hours. powered back on but quickly noticed the dreaded ? folder which means that most of the time there is no operating system installed. immediately returned item and still waiting for refund so i can buy a another. its convient for them to take my money right away but when its a defective product I have to wait forever to get my money returned to me. needless to say poor experience and might need a new quality team before shipping out products to make sure they are really "renewed" ... show more
