1st unit bought from seller Chrome Source which was horrible. The mac arrived rattling around inside a medium sized Fedex box. Opened it to find the mac was just wrapped in single sheet of bubble wrap then tossed in the box. No fragile label or anything on the outside. Luckily the cosmetic appearance was still good. However, I tried to power on and battery was completely dead. Plugged it in, turned it on and had to wait about 2 hours for battery to fully charge to test it. Checked the battery life and found the "Battery Service Recommended" warning. It had a total of 749 cycle counts on the battery and 4049 mAh life remaining. Nowhere near the guaranteed 80% battery life or better on this unit. The unit was very dirty, hair and crumbs falling out of keyboard and every port including power port had dirt and lint built up in it. This is by far the worst "renewed" product I have ever bought. I immediately contacted seller, took them 2 days plus going through Amazon customer service to get a response offering to replace. I opted to just return it as I already purchased a second unit from Platinum Deals which showed up very clean, in like new cosmetic condition, packaged well in an aftermarket computer box, full charge on the battery that had 6100 mAh of battery life remaining well over 80%. The second unit I kept. Point is, be careful what seller you go through. I would absolutely buy from Platinum Deals again but will never purchase anything from Chrome Source again. I will be leaving a positive review on the second unit purchased from Platinum Deals. Update: For whatever reason I can only leave a single review even though I purchased 2 of these from 2 different sellers. I am leaving the negative star rating due to my first experience because I feel that is more important for others to see but hopefully my entire review will be read. As far as the 2nd unit purchased from Platinum Deals, I give it 5 stars in all categories. ... show more

I love my new apple laptop. It’s everything I need it to do and then some. The keyboard is so easy to touch and it stays charged for along period of time as well. It has so many features and functions. If something should ever happen to this one, will definitely buy this one again.

Not used to Apple laptops just iPads, this experience has been surprising. Cannot close windows (tabs) without pressing shortcut keys. The wireless mouse bought to pair it with will not pairi. But unlike my Acer windows 11 i can at least log in. The touchpad is not too slippery, if you get the cursor in the right spot, clicking will get you there. The battery felt too hot when first trying to get the charger to fit, now it appears magnetic, the charger, & charged the battery's fine. Am still waiting for Thunderbolt & other accessories to make it work better. Just have to keep remembering what was compatible with windows is not with Apple. A printed guide would have been helpful. The blutooth other than the mouse is very helpful, though ... show more
