I get frequent shoulder and neck pain, and sometimes covering myself in these is the only way to get through the day. I wear them to work a lot, and it really helps. The scent is a bit strong, but I find that covering it with a shirt with a collar kind of muffles it.     • My Go to for topical pain relief
These are the best. It amazes me how many people don't know about these pain patches. I love them bc my clothes don't get stained by greasy residue. I can stick them virtually anywhere. I will cut them in strips and put them on my face underneath my cheekbones. (Not for the faint of heart) I do this when I have a sinus infection and the pain is horrendous. The wintergreen helps clear up congestion too. If my throat is hurting I put on my neck and the front on my throat. I have hemiplegic migraines and sometimes the pain and weakness on the right side of my body is extreme. I can put these wherever I need to. I don't have to worry about messy lotions leaking in my bags or getting on my clothes all the hassle that comes with pain relieving lotions. Plus being they they come in pouches I can share to all my friends that have never tried these. So many of them have started using these bc they are so easy. They have just the right amount of sticky to stay on for the 8 hours. They have a soft almost fur like texture on the nonstick side. It's not plastic feeling like most pain patches. They are ready to cut off I need them smaller but for the most part they are the perfect size. I do think they need a picture of a cat or dog getting a paw-dicure and call them "salon paws" but that's just me. ... show more

These are a great size, attach easily, stay in place well and, most importantly, they actually relieve muscle pain. I know I should research what's in them to understand how they work, but, right now, just getting some relief from muscle pain is the most important thing! They do smell a bit "menthol", but I just spray on some perfume on top of the pad and that takes care of it. ... show more

Whenever we have pain on back and wrist, these patches are the first one to try soothing them. There are bigger versions available, but we like this one being convenient size to put single patch on wrist or anywhere having pain with double patches. Stick well but not too much so you won’t find any extra pain removing them. Just make sure to use them at night. The patch smell is noticeable if someone standing beside you. ... show more

These patches don't replace anti inflammatory medications, but they are great for minimizing the pain when my joints flare to a 20 pain level using the 1 to 10 pain measurement.

I’ve been using Salonpas for quite some time.. The latest version is much better than the earlier ones in ease of application and that they don’t irritate the skin (as the previous versions often did.) I wish they lasted longer than the 8 hours or so before re applying..

I use the small and large sizes of Salonpas to relieve pain. They work very quickly to relieve pain. In fact today, I am going to use one on my upper arm which has been hurting. They are so easy to use, and they are very effective. I have them in my living drawer, and in both bathroom drawers. I wouldn't be without them.
