My old iPod nano was no longer holding its charge, so I wanted another one. They are so convenient for listening to my audiobooks while I’m doing chores or driving. They take so little room and are very light, work great with wireless headphones and have a sleep setting. This refurbished one was excellent quality and the battery is excellent. Received "Refurbished" 7th Gen unit with a dead battery. Charged it, reset the ipod, drained it, reset it again, charged it and it lasted just six hours. Apple claims 30 hours battery life. I got six hours playing music with the display off and not touching the controls. Do yourself a favor and buy a new one. I know understand why the unit was returned in the first place and have discovered that I know more than Square Deals does about how to test and validate an iPod.
