Style: 3.5mm Aux
I’ve always liked Apple EarPods because they’re simple, comfortable, and just work. The sound quality is clear and balanced, especially for music, phone calls, and everyday listening. I specifically wanted the 3.5mm version because it works with devices that still have a headphone jack, and I don’t have to worry about Bluetooth pairing, charging batteries, or losing connection. Just plug them in and they’re ready to use. The built-in microphone works well for calls, and the volume controls are very convenient. They’re also lightweight and comfortable enough for me to wear for a long time. If you want a dependable pair of wired headphones without spending a lot of money, these are a great choice. Sometimes keeping it simple is the best option!

I grabbed these Apple EarPods with the 3.5mm plug a few weeks back and they’ve quickly become my daily go-to headphones. With my iPhone and iPad both on USB-C now, I still wanted a solid pair of wired buds that don’t need charging or Bluetooth fuss. These classic white ones with the old-school jack fit the bill perfectly and have been a lifesaver for practical, no-nonsense listening. Right out of the box they feel super light and comfortable—slipped straight into my ears with no weird pressure. The fit is snug enough for most people (including me) and the remote control on the cable is a game-changer. Volume up/down, pause/play, and skip tracks all work flawlessly with my phone or laptop. I use them every morning on the Riyadh metro commute; pop them in, fire up Spotify or a podcast, and the sound is clear and balanced. Vocals come through crisp, there’s decent bass for the price, and it’s loud enough without distortion. No battery anxiety means they’re always ready when I’m stuck in traffic or running late. The mic is probably my favorite practical feature. I take a ton of hands-free calls while driving around the city—traffic here can be brutal—and people on the other end say I sound crystal clear, even with the AC blasting or windows down. No more shouting into my phone or dealing with Bluetooth dropouts. At work I plug them straight into my MacBook for long video meetings or when I’m editing reports and need to focus without disturbing the office. The wired connection means zero lag and full audio quality every single time. Travel is another big win. I tossed them in my bag for a quick weekend trip and they saved me multiple times—airport layovers for watching shows, hotel gym sessions (they stay put better than I expected for light workouts), and even just chilling in the car with the aux cable. They’re tiny, lightweight, and the cable is long enough to reach comfortably without tangling up in my pocket. In Riyadh’s heat they never feel sticky or uncomfortable like some bulkier headphones do. Sound-wise they’re not audiophile level, but for everyday use they punch above their weight—music feels lively, podcasts are easy to follow, and movies have good dialogue separation. They work with pretty much any 3.5mm device I’ve tried, from my old iPod to my laptop. Noise isolation isn’t amazing (you’ll still hear the metro announcements), but that’s actually handy when I need to stay aware of my surroundings. Yeah, they can slip out if you’re running hard or shaking your head a lot, and the build feels a bit basic, but after daily use they’re still going strong with zero issues. For the price they deliver reliable, hassle-free audio that brings my wired gear back to life. If you want simple, always-ready earbuds that excel at real-life tasks like commuting, calls, and quick entertainment, these Apple EarPods are a no-brainer. Five stars—grab a pair and thank me later! I remember these. You used to get em with the ipods/iphones back in the day or something? but wow, these were always high quality then, and they still are now, but super cheap. It's kinda crazy. The y sound very good, they fit in the ear well too, and you can't beat it for the price. Amazing.

There is no better option for wired ear buds at this price, and I’ve tried quite a few. Out of the ones I have tried, these easily have above average audio. But, where they really shine is durability. I’m rough on my wired headphones, and these simply last a very long time. I think it (clearly) has to do with the reinforced connection points.

I love these. The day they stop making them I will be sick to my stomach. I love them so much that I’ve bought 3 in case I ever need a replacement. They fit my ear perfect and they allow a little noise to come through so I can be safe in public while listening. They also work great for my MP3 players, CD players or old portable consoles and are always my go to choice for an affordable set of earbuds.

I’ve been using these wired EarPods with the 3.5mm plug for a few weeks now as a simple backup for my iPhone. The design sits in the ear differently than the usual round buds, and for me they stay in place pretty well during normal walking or sitting at a desk. I like that I can just plug them in and go without worrying about charging anything. Sound quality is clear enough for podcasts, phone calls, and casual music listening. Voices come through naturally and the built-in remote makes it easy to pause, skip tracks, or adjust volume without pulling out my phone. Call quality has been solid — people on the other end say they can hear me fine even when I’m outside or in a mildly noisy room. That said, they’re not great if you want strong bass. Music with a lot of low end sounds a bit thin compared to other earbuds I’ve tried. They also don’t block outside noise at all, so they’re not ideal for commuting on loud trains or planes. The cable is fairly thin and I can see it eventually wearing out at the plug or where it splits if I’m not careful when putting them away. They’re a good choice if you have an older iPhone or just want reliable wired earbuds for calls and light listening without spending much. Probably not the best pick if you move around a lot and need them to stay locked in during workouts, or if bass-heavy music is important to you. Overall they do what they’re supposed to do without any major issues for everyday use.

Not kidding when I say these are probably the BEST ear pods I have ever purchased. The cord is just the right size, it sounds amazing, the look of it is sleek, and they fit in your ears so good they don't just slide out. Very comfy indeed. If I wanted an extra to keep on hand, I'd come back to this one.

These Apple EarPods are definitely worth the money. The sound quality is clear, the microphone works well for calls, and they are comfortable to wear. They are reliable and last a long time, making them a great value compared to constantly replacing cheaper headphones.
