I just installed this radio in my truck and have been enjoying it for the past several days. I'm totally happy with this purchase. For less than $100, you get a radio, Bluetooth player, media player, backup camera and display, and Android Auto or Apple CarPlay by a USB cable connection. Pros: 1. The radio installation was simple and easy. Follow the diagram sticker on the radio. To aid with the cable connections, all of the wires followed the standardized wire colors. So all I had to do was connect all the wires from the radio to my truck according to my existing wire colors. So simple and easy. 2. All the radio functions are easy to navigate and set up. The only setup I had to do was Bluetooth pairing it to my phone. I have a Samsung phone so, connecting a USB cable would automatically launch Android Auto and the radio becomes my phone's 2nd display monitor. The screen display is good. I have no complaints. The touch sensitivity is adequate, not as responsive as your smart phone is, but adequate enough to navigate and launch everything. 3. The backup camera works perfectly. This part of the set up was a bit more time consuming and challenging if you are not handy. You have to first find a location to install it onto your car and it may involves drilling holes for the screws to screw the camera onto your car. Then you have to tap into your reverse light cables to connect the power and video cable and then run it inside your car up to the dashboard. Since I have a truck, I had to run the video cable underneath my truck and then into my cabin and up the dashboard. Follow the wiring diagram in the manual. It's much clearer than the wiring diagram in the camera bundle. BE SURE to mount the camera right side up or you will get an upside-down video from the camera and there is no option to rotate the video on the radio setting. Cons: 1. The instructions manual is not very useful. It's adequate to give some informations, but it's much lacking. 2. The responsive screen is adequate, not great. 3. The backup camera display doesn't have an option to rotate the video. I learned this the hard way after installing the camera upside-down and then had to re-installed it. 4. The microphone sound is not very good. Overall I am very pleased with this radio. Because of the several cons listed, I can only give this a 4 star rating. Disclosure: I was compensated for giving an honest review for a product that I bought and used.

This radio has Great features like being able to: *control playback of CarPlay from the main screen, *screen dim/turn off button on the main screen, * equalizer button on the main screen *Mode /mute button It is a fast and responsive radio. It connects to Bluetooth and CarPlay quickly. Once initially paired, Bluetooth connects automatically so you can get in and just go. It does not have AM radio or rds. It does have: 1 front usb for CarPlay/ charging, 1 front TF card slot, and 1 front AUX. I like that it isn’t cumbersome to use. Good unit!

So I am an over the road trucker. I purchased this unit SPECIFICALLY for the Apple car play it states in the description as well in the stock photos. I've used it for 3 months and now it won't car play and I wouldn't suggest getting this radio. At the start yeah its nice and it works great but now it just of waist of money and time.

Not for android phones

Installed into a 94 Chevy truck. Has only a 5 inch mounting depth, screen looks nice. Backup camera works pretty well. Only 2 drawbacks is it doesn't put out a lot of power compared to name brand models and touchscreen is a little clunky when cold. But compared to the 18 year old pioneer I removed its is light years better. Directions could be a little clearer.

I have a bouncy box truck, which makes it hard to see my truck navigation app while driving. I took a chance on this little head unit for its CarPlay and Reverse Camera features. Sometimes, CarPlay glitches out and requires some fiddling to get it to work again, but it works most of the time and does so flawlessly. The cable for the reverse camera wasn't long enough for me (I think it's a 20-foot cable; I needed about 26 to get into the cab and up to the radio), and I know composite video signals degrade the longer the cable is, so I'll forgive the noisy picture on the reverse camera, but simply having a reverse camera in a 28-foot long box truck is a lifesaver.
