Okay so I actually had to return this item with amazon because they messed up delivery and my friend wouldn't get it in time because I am studying overseas and had to get it from Best Buy instead. However, I just have to leave a review. I LOVE this MacBook. I am a Mac user through and through, I have had a 2020 Pro, 2021 Air, and 2023 Air before. This one is far superior. I upgraded from my 2023 Air because my cat likes to chew on my screen and I didn't want to wait to fix the screen so I am going to sell the other once fixed. Additionally, I am a hobby photographer and waiting 10 seconds for each task on my air to complete in Lightroom and photoshop was miserable. I did a lot of research before getting this laptop and was trying to decide between a M3 pro, M4 pro and M5 chip. Ultimately I decided on this because the deal was unbeatable for Black Friday and the product reviews only say it is a little powerhouse despite the lower CPU/GPU in comparison with the pro chips. I can't compare to those chips, but the difference between the 2023 Air and the M5 is night and day in regards to speed of complex processes. It is also very nice for the SD card slot to be in the computer and not needing an adapter. For any PHOTOGRAPHER this is an amazing laptop that will be a lovely upgrade. It runs Lightroom and photoshop seamlessly. It takes no loading time to upload 100 photos onto light room and instantly saves them. Well worth the money. I haven't had any problems with it overheating, even though I am running a lot of tasks. The screen size is the perfect size IMO, the 13 is too small and my 15 air was too big. Brightness is great. It looks amazing in the space black color and is so sleek. Heavier than my 15 in air but that is to be expected. The battery life is good for how powerful it is. Overall super happy with this laptop. Would buy again every time.

I made the switch from PC to Mac hesitantly. Due to my profession in networking, I work primarily with Windows and Linux so I was a bit hesitant to switch. However, I saw one of my coworkers with a MacBook and he said since he switched he hasn’t had any issues, and performance was never an issue. So I decided to try it out with his MacBook for a couple of days and I was instantly convinced. Since purchasing, I’ve used this computer every single day and it’s amazing. It’s fast, reliable, easy to use, the battery lasts all day, even running multiple virtual machines. The screen size is perfect because it’s not too big and not small either. Weight at first seemed like it was going to be uncomfortable to carry since my work laptop is half the weight, but I barely even notice the difference. And the MacBook Pro looks great. I recommend this laptop for anyone who is a professional , or even a student, I also apart from working full time, go to school full time for different certification courses and it’s never caused any issues.

I’ve been very impressed with the 2025 MacBook Pro featuring the M5 chip. Performance is outstanding—the 10-core CPU and 10-core GPU handle multitasking, creative work, and demanding applications effortlessly, all while remaining fast and efficient. Battery life is excellent, and the overall system feels incredibly smooth and reliable for daily professional use. The build quality and display are top-tier, as expected from Apple, making it a great choice for anyone who values performance and stability in a laptop. My only minor drawback is that the design is a bit too discreet and the laptop feels slightly heavy. That said, these are small trade-offs considering the power and consistency this machine delivers.

This machine is incredibly sleek. I’ve been a Mac user since 2013, but I switched to a Windows laptop for a while coming back to Mac was definitely the right decision. It’s powerful, the battery life is outstanding, and the overall performance is excellent. The ports are well thought out, the screen is smooth and crisp, and the keyboard feels great to use.

First off I’d like to say that this MacBook is incredible and its performance is out of this world. Everything operates and loads with blazing speeds and the laptop itself is just gorgeous. HOWEVER THIS REVIEW IS SPECIFICALLY FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO SAVE MONEY If there is a “LIKE NEW” option being sold and shop by Amazon and Amazon resale, buy that one instead, saved a couple hundred bucks using that option and the box came unopened unused, with warranty and 100% battery health, extremely clean.

The media could not be loaded. I mainly got this Mac as a companion for lectures and labs instead of carrying my chungus gaming laptop that has like 4 hours of battery life at most! Not enough battery for my day as a College student and very big and heavy, it's 16 inch with that huge rear exhaust that makes it more like 18 inches in form factor. I decided to get this smaller 14 inch model with basically entry level specs for the M5, and it's already extremely powerful and practically future proof. The battery could no joke last me days without charging (18+ hours light lecture/lab use), the speakers sound way bigger than they are, and I wanted to get a Mac because I'm already in the Apple ecosystem (iPhone, iPad for notes, airpods). Airdrop comes in very handy so submit handwritten notes from my iPad, and this computer never experiences any kind of crashes, stutters, etc. This is the perfect portable computer for me. It just "works". I have both windows and macos at anytime I need them (I can remotely use my other laptop from mac!) so none of that non compatible business bothers me.

Scored an Amazon resell in mint condition only charged once, for the screaming deal of $1329. I was comparing it to a 15 inch MacBook Air and it was actually less expensive. If you follow these closely, Amazon has incredible deals. Not to mention, this is an amazing Mac. I went back back-and-forth between a 15 inch air and a 14 inch pro and this size feels right. The 13 inch air feels too small and the 16 inch pro is too big.
