It also had a modest amount of battery charge, so it booted up immediately. I am amazed with this iPad, it is grate at everything, maybe not a computer replacement but depending on what you usually do at your computer it might almost be it. I am an engineer, and you might think that if this was not a laptop replacement for someone that would be me, wrong, when I use a computer for engineering stuff I 100% of the time use my work computer at work, when at home I do some engineering research, writing and media consumption, previously using my computer and phone for those purposes, now my personal computer is always off and even my phone is now only used for messaging, EVERYTHING gets done now on my iPad and it is sooo much better. As for the buying refurb experience, it was grate, I received what was basically a new product, I checked the serial number on apples website, ran coconut battery to see how many cycles the battery had and it turns out the iPad was bought just 2 months before I got it and it had 8 cycles on the battery, that is nothing! so I can't be happier with the purchase experience and the product itself. ... show more

I purchased the excellent quality version. It came with a visible and sharp dent on the side and upon further inspection I found that the body was bent!!! Not only that, it didnt come with the charging brick, and it shipped in a box where it was literally rattling around inside during shipping. Not a great experience so far. Now after doing some research i found that these iPads were shipping to customers new on release with bent bodies, and apple said it was part of the manufacturing process. Either way I'm not paying for it! Now I have to send it back for a refund and decide where the heck I'm gonna get one. ... show more
