I am very impressed with this scooter. It does great on gravel also performs amazing on the road. I like to take my scooters camping. Now we can go almost anywhere including on road and off. I really like the wide handlebars and high stance of this scooter. Definitely the best bang for your buck on the market right now as of versatility and quality of an Apollo scooter. I weigh 250lbs and this thing is fast, it takes off like a rocket and will even allow you to ride a wheelie if you pop it up hard enough and accelerate.

What a fun and outstanding off road scooter!

Riding the Apollo Explorer off road electric scooter has been an absolute pleasure. It’s incredibly smooth, super responsive, and handles like a dream. The suspension system works really well, and I’m getting about 37 miles of range, which is great. The overall build quality is top-notch — everything feels solid and well-designed. The LUDO is a fantastic bonus, and the scooter comes loaded with useful features. It’s surprisingly fast and can handle steep inclines with ease — I honestly didn’t think it would climb so well, but it does! It’s only been three days, but I’m seriously impressed so far.

Great scooter

I have had mine for about 3 days and gone on 2 6.5 mile trips. What I like: Good packaging, easy to assemble, good instructions, very nice tool kit. The scooter has great power, I am 6' 200 lbs and was a bit concerned as my rides are on some really steep hills. The steepest hill I found so far slowed me down to 11 mph, all the others slowed me down to about 14 mph. This is faster or about even with the speed my Radrover 6+ can take these hills at full power with pedal assist, although my legs aren't very strong. It is definitely more powerful and faster than my Radrover, especially from a dead stop. The regen brakes are amazing, I am sick and tired of riding the brakes on my radrover and burning through brake pads all the time, that is the main reason I bought the scooter. Cruise control is sweet, I didn't even know it had it when I bought it but oh man it is very nice. Dislike: The range is a bit less than I hoped for, on both 6.5 mile trips I returned with about 48% battery. This is in the fastest mode with the speed limit set at 25 mph. I am hopeful for better range in some of the other modes but I have yet to try them. I was aware when I bought it, but not a big fan of the narrow handlebar width. I could care less about the blinkers so I will hopefully find the correct thread pattern and extend the bars at some point. Overall I would give the scooter 9/10, if it had more range it would be perfect. And it very well might once I try some of the slower modes (but what fun is that??).

Scooter for an old man

Will preface this with review with, I am 76 years old and have never ridden any scooter of any type. Able to comfortably ride this scooter the first time trying it. Very well made with attention to detail. Easy to set up right out of the box buy just attaching the handlebars. A tool kit with a large wrench, allen wrenches, extra screws, battery charger and an air pump is included, all high quality. Amazing torque from the dual motors. Acceleration and inclines are a breeze. Very good battery life. The battery last’s and using the app estimates how far the remaining battery will go. Bright stem light makes the scooter highly visible. Some reviews mention the handle bars width being short. Just the right width for me making the controls easy to use. The best thumb throttle, signal lights and best regenerative braking. The suspension is just ok. Riding on bad roads or sidewalks transmits a lot of vibrations. The app is very frustrating. Kilometers are the default. Hard to change to miles. Attaching a phone to the scooter uses a “Quad Lock” which attaches to a phone or phone case which makes Mag Safe Charging unusable. Overall a well made powerful scooter, good not great.

Great all around scooter
This scooter is very fast and durable. I am very impressed with Apollo as this is my first time buying one. Now I want to buy more from them! The battery life is amazing. It just feels sturdy when you are on it. I love the motor brake, it gives you the option to no use the hand brake all the time. Just a great all around scooter.

Great choice

Very impressive commuter. Feels small and nimble like the little Hiboy scooters, but with suspension and some added punch. Very stable at speed, and the entire experience from unboxing to riding has felt very premium. If you've ever unboxed and used an Apple product, this has a similar feel.
