Whenever you add new things to the fish tank, water, or objects, add some of this Quick Start. What I found out is that you can't add too much, but you can add too little. It has essential beneficial bacteria for the fish. For about six gallons of water added, I add about one capful of Quick Start. It helps. ... show more
