First I would say this is made very well. It has a nice sturdy long handle and the scrubbing pad is thick and a very good scrubber. The issue for me is the thickness of the padding overall. It can be pretty tricky to get between the glass and plants, decorations etc. I am also not sure how well the angle of the scrubber to handle works. I tend to have to use it holding it just one way, if I try the other side of the padding I can only go down so far on the glass before I hit plants or decorations with the handle. One thing is that it does not scratch the glass, and if you have some heavy duty algae you can really get in there and scrub hard and it will come off. I alternate this scrubber with a magnetic scrubber. They both have their pluses and minuses. ... show more

The sponge is thick and stiff and is hard to maneuver in the tank with decorations close to the glass. Can't get close to the gravel or into corners. Leaves streaks, you really need to scrub the glass to get the streaks off and that causes a lot of movement in the water. Sponge is easy to rinse and clean tho. ... show more
