The silicone covering gives good protection of the Quest3 controller, preventing dings and scuffs when you are immersed inside the VR world and accidentally hit something. The front of the cover is thick which should give extra protection when playing punching or sword fighting type games. It installs very easily and fits well. The retainer strap is attached to the grip and is much easier to use than the original lanyard, and it doesn't come off like the original when changing the battery. The strap is made out of a nylon type material which I like. Battery change is easier too, as you no longer have to fumble with the battery door. The replacement battery covers fit perfectly, and allow you to just flip open the side of the grip, give a tug on the plastic tab which fits under the battery and you can replace the battery. What I didn't like about this protector is the suction cup bottom. It felt awkward and is always in contact with the bottom of my hand. It weighs enough to shift the balance of the controller. I don't play any games which require the controllers to be suctioned to a table like a tank control, so I wished I would be able to remove the bottom portion. After playing with it a while, you get used to it and you only really notice it when you put your arms by your side and the suction cup bumps your leg. All in all, the protection cover is decent and definitely offers protection for my Quest3 controllers.

I recently got my hands on the Apexinno Upgraded Silicone VR Controller Grips, and I have to say, they're fantastic. Installing them was simple, and they easily slid onto the controllers. I love that they have an opening for easy battery changes, saving me the headache of removing the grips every time. Plus, the extra silicone padding at the top adds an extra layer of protection. Lastly, the suction cups make it super easy to neatly store them on my desk when I'm not using them. If you want to enhance your VR experience while keeping your controllers safe and organized, these grips are definitely worth it.

I got these for my sons to protect the controllers. I thought these looked like they would be comfortable and protect the remotes well. These didn't fit the hands of my 17 year which has large hands. They caused the trigger to not be in the right place. The suction cup was up against his hand and made it uncomfortable. He didn't like the using them. My 13 year old said they were ok. They decided they wanted something different.

These grip covers are amazing! They feel great and work very well. I found no issues with them blocking any signals or interfering with triggers. The base is awesome because it allows them to stand up on their own rather than laying down and rolling around. The strap is comfortable and easy to adjust to your liking. It also has a textured surface to promote air flow and prevent sweaty grip slippage. The battery door and included plastic compartment cover work really well and you don't even notice it's there but it's easy to change batteries. One thing...the little clear plastic pull tab you place under the battery so you can pop it right out is way too long in my opinion. Just a note. Not really sure why the top edge extends further out rather than just following the curve of the controller....unless it's to provide more protection for things you hit....like other people ;) Also, I didn't like the little caps that you pop on the thumbstick controllers. They're also made of silicone, but don't have enough texture to prevent slipping. I found my thumbs sliding on them after a while. Overall, a great set of grips and not very expensive either.

I got these items to protect my controllers. They seem to be made of a very high-quality material and I’m sure that they will last however, I don’t know specifically what game the suction cups on the bottom would be useful, for I found them to be intrusive while playing other games, like beat saber as described, they do not interfere with tracking and putting them on isn’t too complicated. Overall good quality sleeve for the controllers. I just wish I knew what game they were made for.

I got a Quest 3 for Christmas and I play often with my 5 year old son, so I wanted something to protect the controllers as he can be a little crazy when playing beat saber. These silicone rubber covers for the controllers work really well. They are very easy to install and fit perfectly on the controllers, and even come with covers for the thumbsticks. They have straps that go around the outside of your hands so they are great for active games like beat saber and pistol whip. And best of all, they don't affect the tracking of the controllers at all. Definitely recommend to protect your gear!

These controller grips offer a nice upgrade for the Quest 3. The silicone offers a little grippiness while the strap helps ensure the controller doesn't go flying across the room, unintentionally, in the heat of gameplay. I chose this version for the easy battery access, as well.
