- Note 1: Filaments with carbon fiber, glass fiber, metal, or other inorganic particles are prone to clog a 0.2 mm nozzle.
- Note 2: For filaments containing carbon fiber or glass fiber, it is highly recommended to use a hardened steel 0.6 mm nozzle to minimize the risk of clogging and abrasion.
- Note 3: Bamboo PLA-CF and Bamboo PETG-CF have been extensively tested and proven to have a low risk of clogging when printed with a hardened steel 0.4 mm nozzle, while also achieving higher print quality.

This nozzle is great at allowing much finer details on your 3d prints than the standard 0.4mm nozzle. Installing it is trivially easy on the H2S or H2D, and can be done without any tools. You can see from the attached photos a simple comparison. I printed the same simple model both with my 0.4mm nozzle, and with this 0.2mm nozzle. You can se that the version sliced for the .4mm nozzle couldn't reproduce any of the third line of text, and distorted some of the second line (notice the "e" looks like a "c", and there is no crossbar on the "t"). The .2mm nozzle, on the other hand had no issues with that line, and even did a reasonable job with the third line.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Official Bambu Quality — Zero Clogs, Ultra-Sharp Detail I picked up the Bambu Lab H2D Hotend Kit with the 0.2mm stainless steel nozzle, and it has exceeded my expectations. As with all official Bambu components, the quality is outstanding and the fit is perfect. The quick-swap design is a huge win — just flip the latch, drop in the new hotend, and you’re printing again in seconds. The 0.2mm nozzle delivers beautifully crisp detail. Fine text, tiny features, and intricate models all come out noticeably sharper compared to standard nozzle sizes. You can immediately see the difference in surface texture and line accuracy — the smaller diameter really does elevate print quality. Even with the tighter nozzle size, I’ve had zero clogging issues using standard PLA and non-abrasive materials. The extrusion stays smooth and consistent throughout long prints, which is exactly what you'd hope for in precision work. Stick to approved filaments and it performs flawlessly. The value for the money is great! Highly recommend this!
