I found the hose to be light and easy to work when moving about. The brass fittings are straight and very effective; attaches evenly between the nozzle or sprinkler without fail. Recommend purchase for the value. Department stores are way over priced. Amazon? You did it again, my thanks!!

This does tend to kink. It is replacing a similar hose and has just been put in use this Spring. However, the hose part is not as sturdy as I anticipated from 'medium duty'. "It’s an old-fashioned kind of hose and it works just as it’s supposed to." I wrote that shortly after I got it. But just at the 2-month mark, a section of the hose split open. I wasn't using it at the time and there was no water in it. I tried to get a refund or replacement but no luck so far. Update a month later - no response at all from the seller. ... show more

can't beat the price and i am using both that i bought just fine. i read some complaints and if anyone can find a hose that truly won't kink i want to see it. this hose in fine quality for the price. i have no issues with mine been using them for months.

The hose is relatively light-weight and easy to handle. It is not kink-proof but seems to be less prone to kinking. The only problem I have is the male-end connection can quickly developed a leak in the connection between the two. It is not enough to worry about when running a water sprinkler but it's a pain when using the hose in hand, y’all get All wet in your hand. ... show more

Likes this hose. Bought it as an extension for my pressure washer. Used it for a total of about 9 hours on my pressure washer and no leaks. Will definitely be purchasing this hose again if this one fails. It is cheap in price but not cheaply made.

An Update after 2 yrs - I had an HVAC service tech at the house and he needed to use the hose to wash the outdoor compressor unit. He tightened the hose by hand to his pressure washer, but that was enough pressure to make the fitting leak where the male end of the fitting transitions to the crimped area at the end of the hose. Going to have to replace this. Sad, because we took very good care of this hose. We kept it indoors after the outside temp went below 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Original Review follows: I only used this once and very carefully coiled it back to its original shape after that one use. Stored it in my garage overnight. When I went to grab it the next day, it already had a small kink in it and the dark green color of the hose at the kink location changed to a white-ish translucent green. When I connected the hose to the outlet and allowed it to fill with water (nozzle attached but not flowing water), the kink didn't seem to recover or heal. Still had a small fold under pressure and the color was still lighter than the rest of the hose. I think I'll have to store this still attached to the outlet and under moderate pressure so that it doesn't degrade further. Disappointed, but it was lower in cost, so I guess you get what you pay for... Life lesson - buy cheap, buy twice. ... show more
