Apera pH calibration buffers are produced in an ISO 9001:2015 facility with ISO 17025:2017 accreditation using high-purity reagents, deionized water and certified analytical balances in a temperature controlled environment. Reported values are accurate to +/- 0.01 pH at 25°C and are traceable to NIST Standard Reference Materials (SRMs). MSDS documents are downloadable. Certificate of analysis can be achieved by request. All pH buffers have a 2-year expiration from manufacture for an unopened bottle.

Calibrates my Hanna and Bluelab meters great, I seen another review mentioned a over powering menthol smell, my bottle is very faint. I will be purchasing in the future, as it works great very easy to use, at a great price. Added + that they are out of Columbus, Ohio.

Some plants need specific pH water to thrive. I use this to balance the number to where I want. ofcourse youll want to be in the lower ranges but they work great. A must have if you must have your Apera PH pen calibrated to accurately tell you the pH of your water before and after nutrients have been added. I recommend this as a must have for anyone who uses an Apera instruments pH pen. Accurate and it calibrates quickly instructions are pretty basic.

My only gripe is that it smells very strongly of wintergreen. Your instrument will smell of wintergreen even after you rinse it, meaning something is left coating your sensitive and highly expensive ph meter. This doesn't seem to impact performance however. And other reference materials are not as fairly priced, so its a good buy. My bottles arrived leak-free and were packaged well. I would reccomend this product as long as you can stand the minty-fresh smell that hangs around on your instrument for several days. Atleast it smells fresh i guess! ... show more
