Seems pretty flimsy with thin metal. I put a small hose clamp around the other end to secure it cuz I'm sure it will pop out otherwise. I'm just doing this for inspection and I'm going to pass inspection.

This came with the adjuster installed in the end that is supposed to fit over the cable. Considering that there are only three parts it shouldn't have been hard to put it together correctly. I was able to disassemble it and assemble it correctly but I shouldn't have had to. Considering the afore mentioned it is over priced. ... show more

Failed the first time testing out the parking brake adjustment after installing. The metal is so thin that it stretched over the end cable end and the back cables came apart. Now it’s not just stretched but also warped. And it wasn’t a hard test: just trying to see if I could hold the truck from rolling while in drive. Aka the bare minimum to pass inspection. The answer is no, this piece is too flimsy to stand up to using your parking brake at all. Find another solution because this is a waste of money and also TIME…I just went through the hassle of entirely redoing my drum brakes and this part of all things is the problem? Crazy. But hopefully you’re reading this and can figure out a universal replacement and appropriate cables first. ... show more
