  • Good shed for the price!
Color: Brown Size: 8'x6' Set name: shed
I think this is a real nice shed for the price. The metal on all metal sheds seems to have gotten thinner over the years (shrinkflation?) but it is still adequate if you don't abuse. I view it more as a metal tent than a structure. Went up easy for me, I did it by myself in a day, probably about 7 hours. I read the manual the night before and put the steps to memory so that I wouldn't have to go back and forth to the manual for assembly. I did site prep first with a wood platform which made it go together easy. I recommend this shed, but might be difficult to assemble if you're not handy or haven't done something like this before. But as for me, I'm quite pleased with it, nice storage for my mower and garden tools now. I did build racks for my tools, this shed is not sturdy enough to just lean them up inside. ... show more

  • Great Small Shed, Sturdy and Easy to Assemble
Color: Brown Size: 6'x4' Set name: shed
I purchased this shed to store my yard tools and equipment, and overall, I’m very happy with it. The shed itself is pretty sturdy, and the instructions were well thought out and very easy to follow. The only issue I had was with the F1 screws. If you use a power tool, it’s very easy to overtighten them and strip or damage the thin metal. The screws can also slip, so I recommend tightening them very lightly and carefully to avoid wearing out the metal panels. Other than that, it’s a great small shed that does the job well and keeps my tools safe and organized. Overall, I’m satisfied with the purchase. ... show more

  • It’s Decent
Color: Black Size: 6'x4' Set name: shed w/Base
Instructions are clear and pretty easy to follow. Build quality is somewhat cheap; paper thin sheet metal so you have to be careful drilling in the screws. I also highly recommend you have a level, solid base/ solid wood base to build on top of otherwise I can see the build going south. Mostly everything lined up with very little maneuvering or tweaking. And all the parts are clearly labeled. My only real “gripe” with it is how thin and flimsy the sheet metal is. And the sheet metal is also VERY sharp, you can easily cut yourself on this while assembling (ask me how I know😅) but overall, it’s good, it deserves 4 stars if properly built and instructions are followed. Not a bad price either. ... show more

  • I’m a woman and I built this alone.
Color: Brown Size: 6'x4' Set name: shed
Ok. First thing. I loathed the idea of putting this together. Why? Because of user reviews on sheds like this. That’s it. It sat in my yard for about a month before I opened the box and got to work. User reviews matter to the extent in which the history of one writing shares their arsenal of knowledge. I hope by sharing my history it helps to give an idea of what I’ve done previous and how I was able to build this storage unit. I am woman. I’m 40. I taught my ex husband how to tile (a full bath and floor). I’m single, I’m a homeschool mother. I have done and will always continue to do things on my own. Not because I’m overly independent, but because I know it’ll get done right- or close to, I like single life and I learn something new. And unless a handy Prince Charming enters my life, I intend to keep me this way. Most importantly; of all things- I am a trial and error Queen, but at least, I’ll always try. I have built shelves, walls, dry walled etc- but not without mistakes and lots of practice and about 20 years of projects, watching and/or helping out more experienced handy folks. With that all said: This was my first time putting a shed together. This shed is an actually easy build, as in; putting the components as necessary per the directions together. Everything is labeled. All screws labeled. Directions are clear. I laid everything out on a tarp and kept F1 screws in a container for easy access. It came with gloves, but just be careful. The gloves were in my way. **Notable mention: I have had more complications with select IKEA furniture.** Were there tricky parts? Yes- only because I did this alone. Holding certain parts while trying to align and screw in short screws forced me to get creative with making it work. Did everything align? Yes. Were there some bent edges? Yes. Nothing a pair of pliers couldn’t straighten out. Was my ground level? Close enough. I built this upon a previous laid paver area and used shims to level. Were there scratches? Yes. Some. But I can overlook it. I did not peel off the plastic protective wrap and it looks fine. I used a power drill and wouldn’t even consider otherwise. I also filled in slight and slivered tiny openings with caulk- simply for my personal bug concerns. The metal is thin, but once together is quite sturdy. I didn’t need a 3k shed. I simply needed something to store and keep dry -storage totes. This locks too. I’m content. The issues I had: I admire any man who puts this together with larger hands, because as a 5’5” woman, the screws are tiny for me even. My bulk frustrations came from dropping screws because my hands are working hands and I’m using a power drill to tie in screws, all while aiming to line and hold up parts of the roof and/or walls. (Having an extra set of hands would be helpful and a driver.) Other than that tedious annoyance, it took me about 5 hours with some small breaks and conversing with my dog who hung out with me my whole build. Overall. This was doable and I’m happy to free up closet space. Will it last forever? Probably not. But change is a constant so I’ll enjoy this lil shed while it lasts. I feel this is a budget buy and a small token of time for something that will do what I bought it for, for at least several years. Worth it. ... show more

  • Mediocre. Snow will probably tear the roof off without reinforcement, also came missing hardware
Color: Brown Size: 6'x4' Set name: shed
The shed is mediocre. The included hardware count is an issue, constuction quality is okay for a light percipitation / rain only envirornment, but I'm worried about snow. It took me maybe 5 hours to put it together myself. It would be best to have at least two people though, since holding stuff up and screwing it together was a pain. Just a heads up, you'll want an electric screwdriver, and no tools are included The hardware count was like reenacting Goldilocks and the Three Bears. In some cases I had 30+ too many screws and bolts, sometimes I had 3-4 too few screws and bolts, and occasionally I had juuust the right amount. Which was all the more fun because two of the hardware baggies were ripped open in the box with the rest of the hardware. The predrilled holes are occasionally too loose. I'd say maybe one in every 40 screws I put in could be pulled out by hand. the other 39 are tight so I'm not overly worried, but if you expect this to be durable you should rethink. On that note, the roof has a lip to it that is only screwed in on in a couple of places on both sides, which is a terrible design choise for the flimsy and loose material. I don't expect it to completely colapse, but any amount of snow will probably tear a large portion of the roof loose. ... show more

  • Affordable yet durable
Color: Brown Size: 6'x4' Set name: shed
The shed arrived promptly and well packaged. It’s a little heavy but a good size to make it easy to move with one or two people. I’m always amazed by modern packing solutions to be able to ship a metal shed that is 6’X4’. The size is convenient to fit a lot of yard tools and still be able to fit under our deck. It has a good solid metal frame and stainless steel hinges and lock. With those features and the sloped metal roof, it should be able to stand up to the outdoor weather conditions. All of the hardware including the screws are good quality for outdoor use and the ability to lock it provides peace of mind security. So far assembly has been easy with the clear instructions. The only reason I haven’t finished is because of two young kids that insist on “helping” ... show more

  • Great value and perfect for garden storage, but requires patience and the right tools!
Color: Brown Size: 6'x4' Set name: shed
The package arrived and it was quite heavy, so you might need help just moving it. As for the assembly, it definitely requires two people. The instruction manual explicitly lists the tools needed, and I highly recommend following its advice: you absolutely need a power screwdriver and a drill for making holes. If you don't have these power tools, the installation will be extremely tiring and difficult. It took two of us a full afternoon to complete the setup. On the bright side, the instructions are very clear—every single piece of material and type of screw is clearly labeled and numbered, so it's impossible to mix them up. The quality of the materials is actually quite good, especially considering the very reasonable price point. At first, I thought the dimensions looked a bit small, but it turned out to be spacious enough for my needs. It easily fits all my garden essentials, including fertilizer, soil bags, and various small tools. Once fully assembled, it looks great, feels sturdy, and gives you a wonderful sense of accomplishment. Highly recommended if you have the right tools and a helping hand! ... show more

  • Don’t cheap out and buy a better shed!!!
Color: Brown Size: 6'x4' Set name: shed
I bought the shed because I’m on a budget and as they say you get what you pay for. Having said that once it was finished, I realized it will serve the purpose I had intended for it. How well is another story? I’d be shocked if this thing doesn’t leak because none of the pieces fit together flush, even though I tried pending them into position. Build was tedious. The parts are cheap and flimsy and I cut two of my fingers pulling apart the thin metal sheets. The worst part of the build was the roof and doors. My one word of advice would be to put all the washes on the screws before you start building the shed because putting each washer on each screw before you put it into position and install it in is a nightmare. I did it by myself and it took me one afternoon and a few hours the following morning. Like I said it does serve the purpose but if you’re gonna live with it being a flimsy shed, you’ll be fine. Also, you absolutely must bolt it down to whatever platform you’re putting it on for the wind will take it and it’ll be a pile of junk. ... show more
