Great add on to patio for protection from weather

We bought this to replace our old one with fabric top. Our old one broke during a snow storm. This is definitely a sturdier option and was very excited to have it up. At first it was very intimidating to put together. Planning and preparation was needed to get everything in order. My sister and I in our 40s and took us in combination of 6-8hrs to have up completed. We broke it down to 2 days, between 3 to 4 hours each day. We also took our time as we did not want to rush it. The preparation and reading the materials ahead of time helped organize us. Definitely helped having actual tools and electric drills to use but can also use what was available. We needed a ladder that is at least 6ft tall to put up the middle portion. Depending how tall you are, we’re both around 5’2. Drilling and securing the corners were one of the most challenging as you will need both ends to drill down while securing both sides. Overall, it did not give us too much trouble, fairly easy to put together once you have the main structure up. I really like how it looks on my deck and the extra protection from the cold or heat. I would definitely suggests to buy. ... show more

Very well organized and clear instructions
Color: Gray Size: 10'x12' Set name: Gazebo
Review Image by Jason Kisic
My neighbor has one just like this, and we really love the features so we got our own! So far, we would like to level our patio area and wait for good weather, so I haven't put it outside yet. I will update my review once it is all set up. However, I've assembled many Amazon furniture like this, and this has very clear instructions in comparison to others. A complete book with step by step instructions and all parts are clearly labeled with numbers and letter that correspond with the diagrams in the manual. The instructions even have color pictures/ diagrams which makes such a difference. Everything in the boxes is securely packaged and were not damaged. Comes with several extra parts just in case (labeled extra parts). And everything is pretty much in order so you don't have to go digging in the box. This is delivered in two big and heavy boxes, so I suggest making sure you are home when delivered and get someone to help carry. Individual pieces are lightweight but very sturdy. Needs at least two people to set up, but instructions suggest four people. Only basic tools are required. The only power tool is a drill or electric screw driver. I would recommend this because there are a lot of screws, so a drill will make it a lot faster. Required tools shown in my video. The size is 10 by 12 and takes up exactly that much space on the ground. I love that this comes with the curtains and screen curtains on all four sides. This makes it truly functional in almost all weather. It gets pretty buggy in my area, so the screen keeps them all out while letting the sunshine in. I can also pull the outer curtains shut for shade or to keep rain/ snow etc. out and protect patio furniture. Both layers have zippers that can completely close the space all the way around. It's truly versatile and stylish. ... show more

Great Gazebo for the Price! Very Happy
Color: Brown Size: 10'x12' Set name: Gazebo
Review Image by Mark
Overall, we are very happy with this gazebo. It is a budget gazebo (I don't mean that as an insult, it just is.). It's made of aluminum and the parts are easily bent if not careful, but once assembled it's very sturdy and good looking too. It assembled easily enough (I built it alone but really could have used another person for some of it, so if you are not handy and creative in finding solutions, it will be a challenge). It comes with a nicely done 31 page step-by-step assembly book, all of it is visual with little text, very good in 90% of it. Also, I did find a fairly helpful video that someone posted on YouTube. We live near the ocean and get a strong breeze almost nightly, the gazebo handles it very well. But, it must be secured to the ground. Two minor complaints: 1) The plastic curtain rings are flimsy and I don't think they will hold up for long. 2) The stakes that are used to secure it to the ground are way to short to be of any use unless you have hard clay soil. Do as the instructions suggest and start with a parts inventory. This is one of those projects where if you get halfway through and are missing something, you'll have to stop to order the part, and because it ships from overseas you'll have to wait 2-3 weeks for that part. By the way, their customer service is outstanding! They respond quickly and are very helpful. For the manufacturer: Step 23 (the ridge cap) should moved to before Step 21 OR the part should be redesigned to better align with the holes. The way it is now, you have to reach over already installed roof panels and it was a dog to do. Even with 2 people it would be hard to do. ... show more

No customer support
Color: Brown Size: 12' x 20' Set name: Gazebo
We bought this gazebo to use in Ohio and used it all last summer and fall. Love the two layers of wall panels that are designed to surround the structure: one is mesh and the other solid fabric. The panels are well made and durable. It was easy to set up, but not fast-- lots of pieces! The instructions were reasonably clear and with two people it was a very manageable process. I was concerned from the start about how it would handle the winter since it's clearly not made to be disassembled in the off-season. At first I was very pleasantly surprised because even in 20-30 mph wind and with the weight of several inches of snow, it held up. The problem arose when a windstorm came through with gusts over 40 mph. The top could not take the strain and several pieces blew out. We rounded up as many pieces as we could find, but we lost a few polycarbonate panels and a couple of the metal supports that hold the panels in place. I reached out to the company by phone and by email to get replacement pieces . Although they responded to my first email asking for more information, once I provided the information I didn't hear from them again despite what several follow-ups on my part. Ultimately it turned out to be easy to find replacement polycarbonate at home Depot. But the replacement metal pieces were much more challenging. I ended up having a local metal shop try to fabricate pieces that would work. One other issue you should be aware of if you're looking to buy this structure. The polycarbonate panels are tinted to block out sun. It blocks the direct sunlight, but it tends to feels like a greenhouse. So in hot areas (80+), it's not comfortable to be under while the sun is shining on it. Although the greenhouse affect is a bummer, if there were any customer service at all I would still give this a 4-star rating for the great design, attractiveness and durability; but the lack of availability of company support to deal with replacement parts is a big negative. Hope this is helpful to anyone looking to buy. ... show more

Great Value Gazebo – Easy Assembly, Sturdy, and Perfect Size
Color: Brown Size: 10'x12' Set name: Gazebo
Review Image by Lynn
I’m really glad I bought this gazebo. I looked at a lot of different ones before choosing this one, and for the price, this was definitely the best value. The size is perfect for our patio—big enough for outdoor furniture and still leaves plenty of space around it. Once it was set up, it made the whole backyard feel like a new space. Everything arrived in good condition with no missing parts, which was a big relief. All the holes lined up well and the pieces fit together like they should, so alignment was not an issue at all. Assembly took some time, but it was pretty straightforward. The instructions were easy enough to follow, and having a second person made it much easier. Once built, it feels solid and stable. The frame doesn’t feel flimsy, and overall sturdiness is better than I expected for this price range. Even with some wind, it feels secure when properly anchored. One of my favorite parts is the screen curtains. They do a great job keeping mosquitoes and bugs out, which makes sitting outside in the evening much more enjoyable. The regular curtains are also nice for extra shade and privacy. I’m very happy with this purchase. Good size, easy assembly, sturdy construction, no missing parts, and great value for the money. I’d definitely recommend it. ... show more

A luxury upgrade for outdoor living space
Color: Brown Size: 12'x12' Set name: Gazebo
This Aoxun Hardtop Gazebo has completely transformed our backyard into a place where our family truly enjoys spending time together. From weekend BBQs to quiet evenings, it has become the heart of our outdoor space. The 12'x12' size gives everyone plenty of room to relax comfortably. Assembly took a few hours and definitely went smoother with two people, but every part fit well and nothing was missing. Once finished, the metal frame felt incredibly sturdy and secure. Even on windy days, it stays stable when properly anchored, which gives us peace of mind. The double-roof design keeps the area cooler, while the curtains and mosquito netting are my favorite features. We can enjoy summer evenings without constantly swatting bugs. The curtians provide extra shade and create a cozy atmosphere. This gazebo is beautiful, sturdy, functional, and an excellent value. It is more than just a shelter. It has created a beautiful gathering place filled with laughter, conversations, and wonderful family memories. I would gladly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their outdoor living space. ... show more

Bumpy process of assembly but worked out well in the end
Color: Brown Size: 10'x12' Set name: Gazebo
Now I'm not going to sugar coat it but when I received this product it was missing some of the components needed to build the roof. However the support team from the company was extremely helpful and was able to send me the missing components quickly and efficiently. After assembly was complete the Gazebo looked great, is sturdy, and is very effective at keeping bugs out even down south where you get swarmed all summer. ... show more

Finished product is nice
Color: Light Brown Size: 10'x12' Set name: Gazebo
When I first got the item and unpacked it I thought it was flimsy. All parts arrived undamaged. I have had worse instructions, but I have had better. It took about three hours for my wife and I to assemble the frame. We took our time and followed the directions carefully. We spent about three hours the next day on the roof. The worst part was getting the roof panels in the correct position and getting them into the grooves. This took about seven more hours. Peeling off the protective film on the roof panels was a pain. A couple of panels didn't line up correctly. This took some frame adjustments but was eventually corrected. A small bent frame piece was to blame. During construction directions show to install curtain rods early on. I would hold off until the last. They block screw holes needed during construction. I didn't use the enclosed cement or yard anchors. I plan to anchor it to our wooden deck. I'll provide my own hardware for that. After assembly I found the item to be sturdy. I hope the roof holds up to Iowa winter snows. I assembled it in the fall. We decided to wait to install the provided curtains until spring. The curtains look nice but I can't comment too much about them. I think this item is worth the money. I took off one star because the directions were difficult at times. Some of the parts were missing the labels indicating part number corresponding to the directions. Packaging was okay. Shipping was fast ... show more
