Bought this thinking it would be a good desk lamp since my other one broke. Everything worked fine expect for the actual light stand stablilty. Picked this up for the wife to read by at night since this has a Timer function. For the price i didn't expect much but they took great care in making this lamp. It has abs plastic with aluminum framing and its not easy to knock over. The touch controls are super sensitive, i barely touch it and the functions activate. The timer is a nice feature for those that fall asleep reading or in a kids room as a nightlight. I actually tested this lamp with a battery bank and it ran for hours, now i have a back up for when the power goes out in the summer. all in all im happy with it and hope the wife will be too. ... show more
