This camera works really well. I wish I would have gotten the 2 pack. It was super easy to set up. You only have to buy an SD card and add the app to your phone so you can check your camera. It has night vision and I really like that I can talk to the person on the other side. It is so clear! It tells you if it is just motion (car passing) or if there is an actual person around. I like that, so when I'm going through it later checking on my teenagers, I can scan through it quickly just looking for "person" bypassing all of the motions. It saves so much time. I have had this for about a month now and my SD card looks like it hasn't even been used percentage wise. It charges by the sun, so it doesn't need batteries. I like the flexibility and versatility the solar power and wireless connectivity provides and the local storage. I like the ability to time when individual cameras turn on and off. I like being able to delete "events" (videos) in bulk, although it often takes several attempts to delete them. Connectivity is decent although not perfect (which may account for the event deletion issue?). Video quality is good and a light comes on at night that provides color videos. It is fairly easy to install and set up. Not all movement triggers the cams: can be somewhat hit or miss, such as sometimes it triggers when a delivery person walks up the driveway at the edge of the frame and sometimes it doesn't. Lately, it has so I'm wondering if the routine camera firmware updates are helping? In any event, I'm relatively pleased. ... show more

Just ordered this AOSU wireless outdoor camera for monitoring my backyard and it is awesome!! Perfect for areas where availability of power or ethernet connectivity is nonexistent and super simple to mount, install and monitor from anywhere. The App is also great and I get a reasonable amount of notifications when anyone is present or activity occurs within the radius set. And as long as you have reasonable amount of sunlight to maintain the camera charged, its a no brainer. And best of all, no monthly or annual subscription charges. Im assuming they didn't like my review, my camera won't even pick up my truck or wife's car leaving for work but yet has constantly sent me notifications all day of nothing. It won't stop going off and recording...sometimes the leaf moves and other time nothing moves They push the no subscription service in advertising yet they do push a subscription when you activate the camera system and it does require a subscription for the smart features like tags and detection settings along with other features. The subscription price is a rip off and over priced. The motion detection is ridiculously sensitive at times and will pick up leaf movement which sends you a ridiculous amount of notifications and videos to go through and delete. It wouldn't be as aggravating if the video would actually delete when you do go through the ridiculous amount and try to manually delete but instead it freezes and about a minute later says error deleting video. Other accounts the cameras don't even detect my work truck pulling in and leaving the house or my son and nephew riding their dirtbike. Ive only had the system up for 4 days now and not satisfied at all. On another note, it says the camera will auto adjust to sensitivity on things not needed to record but again it detects a leaf move but not my dogs, kids on dirtbikes and sometimes my large work truck. A few occasions it started recording to late and only caught the back end even though the camera is facing down my driveway. Some of the video is like its in fast forward mode and some are not. Another note, the mount isn't a good design. My camera fell off the mount when securing the solar panel next to it. All that being said, it might or might not catch someone doing something on your property so think on it and shop around. Not sure how others have such good reviews on this system ... show more

We've only had our cameras up for 5 days now, but so far, they're great. Does everything they said they would do. Have to turn the sensor alarm off during the day. We have new condos and knew neighbors and kids! Love kids but they are afraid of the alarm. So if we go away from the house and we get the signal or message that someone in from of the house, we can turn the alarm on at a glance and scare them away if need be or just yell! If your a woman you change your voice to a man's voice. So far they're just great! And the clarity at night is unreal. And you can separate people motion from animal motion and the camera will tell you if it's a person so you don't have to keep monitoring because a couple of squirrels are in your driveway or the neighbors' cat just sat on your porch. Lol! Well worth the money. Even got one in the kitchen so I can see whose raiding the frig. Some of us are supposed to be on diet! Lol! And the pictures are beautiful watching the sun go down over your backyard, across the water, because you're not home to see it live. Great buy! Give them a try! Even with the sensors low the storage fills up very quickly. And if you watch your feed over 3 mins, it automatically takes you back to the beginning.     • Nice camera, questionable longevity

I have had my camera since 2023. It has been a very nice camera. It spend maybe a year out of use after I moved, we bought it to watch out egg stand because we had people stealing and wanted a deterrent. Which it worked well for. Then we moved, and at this house it lives under the front porch. However, I am not sure what happened here recently but the solar panel has stopped charging the camera, and the camera is no longer reading the SD card in the camera. I will try removing the SD card tonight and reinstalling it and see if that gets it working again or not. The camera itself gets 0 exposure to weather other that hot/cold (No rain/snow can touch it). The Solar panel is a foot or so away screwed into my siding and has worked well for the last year or so where it has been. We live in Northern Indiana so it is a rough climate, but I would think it would last longer than this, it has a very nice build quality and the solar panel looks like new and gets plenty of sunshine. Plan on contacting the seller, I doubt they will do anything. I just wish I knew what happened to give it these issues. I might buy it again, it has been very nice while it has been working. I noticed the price right now (4/27/2026) is lower than when I bought it originally in 2023. I have it plugged into a wall charger currently and it is powered up and sending me notifications. I can't view the events though since it doesn't recognize the micro SD card. I have never used their cloud service, so I couldn't tell you how good that is/isn't. Seems pretty high price wise for the cloud service, I picked this one because of the micro SD card storage option. ... show more
