You will need to watch YouTube videos to assemble this scooter, and to adjust the brakes, as the included instructions are horrible. However, there are many YouTube videos available on scooter and brakes. The Amazon reviews regarding the brakes and the wheel alignments are USER error, from people who did not assemble the scooter correctly or adjust the brakes. This scooter is amazing in every way! The brakes (once adjusted correctly) will stop on a dime. The alignment of the wheels and handlebars are as straight as YOU adjust them to be. It is up to you to assemble it correctly (watch a video, it is easy). I had never assembled a bike before, and was able to put this together and get it perfect on my first try. I am a 61 year old woman, if I can watch a YouTube video and put this together, anyone can! The scooter is for my 6 yr old granddaughter. I can see her using this until she is 16 yrs old, as the handlebars can be moved up, and easily adjusted to fit her as she grows! She will get many years of use from this scooter and I can see it being handed down to her brother as she outgrows it, as the quality is “hand-me-down” good! ... show more

Paint was bright white with black and well done. Ride was smooth for my 8 year old grand daughter who is 4'4" and 50 lbs. Would have been too large for my 5 year old grandson. Assembly takes some time and concentration, especially brake lines. Overall a good product!

They look good and went together pretty easy. Came little late but it is Christmas so, only complaint is brake cables are so long and stick out nothing a zip tie didn't fix.

Excellent scooter for a child, maybe 7 years or older. Well built, will last years. Our child was hesitant at first, but after maybe an hour of practice over a few days now rides very naturally. Brakes and kickstand are very welcome. Inflated wheels are massive and provide excellent suspension on cracked or wonky sidewalks, and small gutters. Not many downhill areas here, but brakes would make even a steel gradient fun and safe. Assembly is very easy if you have experience building bikes. Otherwise, take your time, or get your local bike shop to assemble. Fits in trunk of our compact car. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Received this product for my 6 year Olds birthday. Out of the box both rims were bent. Front tire has tons of play in the spokes. Back brake made of plastic broke the first ride. So much play on the front rim I don't feel it's safe for him to ride. I got one disappointed birthday boy. Spend extra and get a quality product I do not recommend this one. ... show more
