These lights are super-lightweight, but really, after installing them into a standard lightbulb socket, there is no need for them to be built to a “heavy duty” level. More weight, in this case, would not be a good thing. The ‘deformability’ of the panels is more than adequate to aim the lights where needed. These are a very good value when you consider the adjustability and the lessening of cast shadows compared to a single 75-80 watt LED bulb. I can’t imagine that you could possibly be disappointed in purchasing this product. ... show more

    • Lots of light from a single socket, draws power similar to an incandescent bulb
I installed one of these in my closet that has my safe. It is pretty dark in the safe and being able to redirect the blades to bounce the light off the walls brightens the interior of the safe - something that I always had problems with a single incandescent or LED bulb in the lone socket. The only thing that I was slightly concerned about was that the unit draws quite a bit of wattage (80) which is similar to the 75 Watt incandescent bulb so there isn’t any savings in electricity. Couldn’t find any socket I would want it for that it would fit in. Garage, 2 porch sockets. Arms were in the way

    • Bright lights..
These are a bit smaller than other wing lights I have seen but they cast a bright light. They are quite light so no strain on the fixture to be concerned about. I used these in the garage and it lit up areas that were darker in the past. Decent lights.
