I've used a lot of IPLs lately, and this is the only one that says it can also be used for skin care (like eczema treatment) and acne treatment. There's a mode button that switches between the three settings (HR for hair removal, SC for skin care, and RA for removing acne). Other than that explanation, though... there is no other mention of the skin functions in the instruction book. I tested all three settings and couldn't notice a difference between them, so I suspect that all IPLs can be used for all of these features. The instructions did talk a lot about the hair removal part, and it came with a full-sized sheet with instructions and a chart so you can keep track of when you used it. Unlike other IPL charts I've seen, this one was printed with a white background, so you can see the marks you leave! There are a total of 9 strength settings, which was unusual. Most of these IPLs only have 5 settings. This laser remover gives me a very nice feeling in my palm. The angle feels right. The quality of the material is something I really care about when I buy an off-brand product, it didn't disappoint me. I appreciate the detailed manual, instructions, and safety guidelines for the whole process. It is not supposed to be easy and quick for the laser removal process, but the instructions help a lot.

I've only been using this "Aopvui Home Use Hair Remover Device for Women and Men Whole Body Use" for two weeks and haven't noticed a difference yet. I'm sure it will take some time. There is a light that zaps every few seconds, which doesn't hurt, but you will want to be sure to wear dark glasses.

I tried using this Aopvui Home Use Hair Remover Device for Women and Men last night. I've never used nor had this type of hair removal device before so I wasn't sure what to expect. At first I didn't realize that in order to see the light it needs to be against your skin. The directions could've been a little better. You need to use it for a couple of months to see progress so I will update the review later. The light or sparks made me (and my cat) jump at first! I'm trying it out on my upper legs. They came with a nice pair of protective lenses and a razor. Be sure to check your skin tone/type to make sure it will work for you. Also, if you have tattoos, they say not to use it. Read the restrictions before purchasing.
