I was impressed with the quality lighting and brightness for such small lamps. I would have rated it a full 5 stars, however, in less than a years time, one of the lamps 'took' in water from the rain and burned out.... other than that, they work as claimed to do!

Satisfied as of 2 weeks of purchase. All units worked on arrival. All units working after several rainstorms. Motion detection is good. Mode button on the front is much better design than past units. Units are smaller than previous models and the angle of the motion detection bubble is less pronounced so you may need to mount higher for full detection angles. All mounting hardware was in the box. The light brightness is perfect for my needs. Earlier models of this unit lasted several years for me. The detection bubble has always been the first thing to break due to sun damage. These lights are fantastic! They’re very bright and cover a wide area with the 270° angle. The motion sensor picks up movement quickly and works perfectly every time. Installation was simple, and they charged up fast even with just a few hours of sunlight. I put them around my yard and garage, and they make a huge difference at night. Two out of six lights leaked and stopped working in the first two months. I like these lights, and placed two batches around the house. One pack of four were the back button (not as convenient to change settings, but work great) and this pack of six with the front settings button. These were placed in relatively protected outdoor locations, under an eve, so should never get much direct rainfall, but they are subject to cold overnight temperatures and humidity changes. So far, two of the pack of six lights allowed water to condense inside of the light and motion sensor housing (see photo) and after another week or so, stopped lighting up at all. Disappointing, but they weren't terribly expensive. Hopefully the remaining four continue working and live up to the reviews others have posted. My only other observation is that they all last different amounts of time. Not a big deal, but it is interesting that the remaining four lights are all installed on the same wall, all get the same amount of unobstructed sunlight (south-facing wall), all installed at the same angle flat on the wall, and all are set to the same dim-light with motion to full-brightness setting, but they all turn off at different times in the night. Maybe better batteries in some, or better solar panel in some, but two will turn off 1-2 hours before the others. I rearranged them to put the longer lasting units in the more important locations along the wall and they continued to be the units that lasted the longest even in the new spots. ... show more
