These are great shoe organizers. I put them together in seconds. They have turned a haphazard pile of shoes into neat and tidy organized area where I can easily find any pair of shoes that I’m looking for through the clear plastic zippered dust cover. They are made of durable canvas material with a firm core. I’m not sore if it’s cardboard or plastic but I think as long as you don’t stack anything heavy on them they should hold up for a very long time. They are very lightweight and have handles on the side so you could easily move them from one place to another. The cells are adjustable so you can store shoes of almost any size and shape. You could even use it to store your handbags if you prefer. I highly recommend these. I also like that they come in a double pack. The only negative that I might say is that the cells are not as large as they are depicted in the ad. I think that their marketing department might have digitally reduced the images of the shoes so it looks like you could get a pair in each cell. Other than that these are really a great value especially if you catch them on sale (buy extras). ... show more

I needed a place to store my seasonal shoes. This is perfect. I love that the shoes are stored vertically and that it has a clear vinyl zippered top. The cube is very sturdy and the handles on both sides are very nice and makes it easy to place on a shelf. You could of course use them for any type of shoe but the bigger the shoes - the less pairs you can fit in the spaces.
