  • Well made and priced right!
Color: Mic Arm
I purchased the KO-Star microphone for use with my Pimsleur language studies. It works great, but it sat on the desk and I would have to move it around, all of the time taking up real estate on the desk. Using the stand makes the mic infinitely more useful because I can move it out of the way when I'm not using it and when I need it, I can position the mic right in front of my mouth. In addition, it no longer sits on my desk. The stand is very well made and I would definitely purchase this over more expensive options if I had to make the same choice all over again. • Exactly as expected
Color: Mic Arm
This works exactly as expected. It's stable, easy to install, and held my HyperSolo mic perfectly. Great for the price because the bottom piece that attaches to the desk is thicker than most at this price point and that directly affects is longevity and stable-ness.

  • Cumbersome and bulky
Color: AK-49
It's excessively bulky, but the base isn't solid enough to keep the arm from wobbling. It has limited movement so it's next to unusable in a more dynamic environment, basically meaning if you want it to be anything but completely stationary it's next to useless. It wont swing out of the way or collapse on itself if you need it to. But this is all by design. It's a stand for a niche user, and not what i was looking for. (i should have payed more attention when I ordered it.) For the right person and use case, its a good buy. Just not for me. ... show more

  • Great for a specific use case
Color: AK-49
I needed a mic boom that I could attach to a desk with enough height to clear my monitor. I've had more expensive booms from other name-brand manufacturers and I will grant you those have more heft and better build quality but I am using this to hold a shotgun mic which is very light. I can now record at my desk and have the mic just out of camera, about 6 inches from my face. It works really well for that purpose. The adjusting knobs are made of plastic and they are the weak point of this arm. The pics show this arm holding heavier mics and I guess it would be ok but I would probably get something more robust for that purpose. The description says it can hold up to 4.4 lbs. Once the knobs are in place, they are very secure but the boom is not completely stable in the desk mount and has a bit of wiggle. There is a track for cable management that is a nice touch. All in all, it's a good boom arm for my needs. ... show more

  • Difficult to adjust the mic position
Color: AK-49
The quality of the product is fine. My problem is with the inherent design; it is difficult to adjust the position of the mic. Instead of just moving the mic to a new position and leaving it there, you need to loosen the joint(s), move the arm to a new position, and re-tighten.

  • Been holding up for 6 months now!
Color: AK-48
Nice mic stand! Sturdy as well. It's perfect for my setup! It’s sturdy and holds my microphone securely in place, with a smooth, flexible arm that makes it easy to adjust for different recording angles. The mount clamp is solid and doesn’t wobble, even on my thicker desk. I also love the built-in cable management—it keeps everything tidy and out of the way. Overall, this mic arm has been a fantastic addition to my workspace, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone needing a reliable and well-built boom arm! I really recommend this product. ... show more

  • Great
Color: Mic Arm
It works well, very easy to set up. The microphone cords get tangled around pretty easily, but it’s not a huge issue. I have no issue when adjusting the microphone when it’s attached. It’s very sturdy, it doesn’t come loose off the desk what so ever. My only Issue is how stiff it is during adjustments of just the stand itself, such as bending it or turning it. ... show more
